Brush Creek is an unincorporated community in northwestern Williamson County, Tennessee, United States. [1]
The Isola Bella Plantation's previous owner was Franklin Pike and it is an antebellum home just south of Concord Road. Valued at 3.9 million dollars, [2] the home originally had approximately 6,000 square feet. The original build date is estimated at 1840 by James and Narcissa Merrit Johnston. They built it on land that belong to David Johnston. It served as a hospital and as a military headquarters. It was a hospital for a time during the 1864 and possibly 1865. The time it spent as a military headquarters was under the orders of General John B. Hood. [2] The house is located at exactly 35.9964509 latitude, -86.8091668 longitude. [3]

Built in 1846, it is a notable example of a two-story vernacular I-house structure in Williamson County. It includes Central passage plan architecture. The NRHP listing is for an area of 5.2 acres (2.1 ha), with one contributing building and two non-contributing structures.
The Claiborne Kinnard House also known as Windermere is a historic home in Franklin, Tennessee, built in 1887 on land that was once the eastern flank of the 1864 Battle of Franklin. A 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources assessed that this house was one of the "best two-story vernacular I-House examples" in the county; the others highly rated were the William King House, the Alpheus Truett House, the Thomas Brown House, the Beverly Toon House, and the Stokely Davis House. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It is located in Franklin at the corner of Lewisburg Pike and Carnton Lane.
Thomas Shute House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The property has also been known as Creekside. It dates from at c.1845. When listed the property included three contributing buildings, and two contributing structures on an area of 4.8 acres (1.9 ha). The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources. It is one of about thirty "significant brick and frame residences" surviving in Williamson County that were built during 1830 to 1860 and "were the center of large plantations " and display "some of the finest construction of the ante-bellum era." It faces on the Franklin and Columbia Pike that ran south from Brentwood to Franklin to Columbia.
