The Bulletin of Insectology is a biannual peer-reviewed open access scientific journal of entomology covering morphology, biology, behaviour and physiology of insects and other arthropods; control of insects, mites, and other arthropod pests with particular reference to biocontrol and integrated pest management.
The journal was established in 1928. It was subsequently known under different titles, before obtaining its current title in 2002:
The journal is abstracted and indexed in:
According to the Journal Citation Reports , the journal has a 2020 impact factor of 1.711. [5]
Guido Grandi was an Italian entomologist. In 1928 he founded the Institute of Entomology at the University of Bologna.
Emilio Chiovenda was an Italian botanist.
Giovanni Battista Rizza, officially known as Giambattista Rizza, was an Italian mathematician, working in the fields of complex analysis of several variables and in differential geometry: he is known for his contribution to hypercomplex analysis, notably for extending Cauchy's integral theorem and Cauchy's integral formula to complex functions of a hypercomplex variable, the theory of pluriharmonic functions and for the introduction of the now called Rizza manifolds.
A Superior Graduate School is a completely independent institution from a legal point of view, which offers advanced training and research through university-type courses or is dedicated to teaching at graduate or post-doctoral level.
Eustachio Manfredi was an Italian mathematician, astronomer and poet.
Federico Cafiero was an Italian mathematician known for his contributions in real analysis, measure and integration theory, and in the theory of ordinary differential equations. In particular, generalizing the Vitali convergence theorem, the Fichera convergence theorem and previous results of Vladimir Mikhailovich Dubrovskii, he proved a necessary and sufficient condition for the passage to the limit under the sign of integral: this result is, in some sense, definitive. In the field of ordinary differential equations, he studied existence and uniqueness problems under very general hypotheses for the left member of the given first order equation, developing an important approximation method and proving a fundamental uniqueness theorem.
This bibliography lists publications authored by the Italian malacologist and painter Carlo Pollonera (1849-1923). The article endeavours to be comprehensive, and includes all works listed in previous bibliographies of Pollonera. Zoological Record and AnimalBase have also been utilised. Works listed without an internet link have generally not been examined directly. Dates given here follow those printed on the individual issue wrappers, which sometimes differ from those on the title page of the volume.
Xylocopa combusta is a species of carpenter bee.
Distoleon tetragrammicus is a species of antlion in the subfamily Myrmeleontinae.
Luigi Robecchi Bricchetti was an Italian explorer, geographer, cartographer and naturalist.
The Rendiconti di Matematica e delle sue Applicazioni is an open access peer-reviewed mathematics journal, jointly published by the "Guido Castelnuovo" Department of Mathematics of the Sapienza University of Rome and by the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica Francesco Severi, established in 1913. The Journal started his publications a year after, in 1914, and his first director was Vito Volterra.
Sphaerocerinae is a subfamily of flies belonging to the family Sphaeroceridae.
Safaria is a genus of flies belonging to the family of the Lesser Dung flies.
Anommonia is a genus of flies belonging to the family Lesser Dung flies.
Nuncius: Journal of the Material and Visual History of Science is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal covering the history of science, especially the "historical role of material and visual culture in science". The journal was established in 1976 by Maria Luisa Righini Bonelli as the Annali dell'Istituto e Museo di storia della scienza di Firenze. The journal changed its publisher in 2011. It is published by Brill Publishers and the editor-in-chief is Elena Canadelli of the University of Padua, Italy.
The Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Italiane is an association of public and private universities in Italy. It began in 1963 as a private organization, later becoming an official advisor to the government. The supporting Fondazione CRUI (foundation) formed in 2001. CRUI operates from headquarters at the Piazza Rondanini in the Sant'Eustachio rione of Rome.
Luca de Samuele Cagnazzi was an Italian archdeacon, scientist, mathematician, political economist. He also wrote a book about pedagogy and invented the tonograph.
Salvatore Lorusso is a former professor of Environmental Chemistry and Cultural Heritage in the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna, and founder of the journal, Conservation Science in Cultural Heritage. He has also been named a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and an Emeritus Professor of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Zhejiang University in China. In the mid-2010s, Lorusso oversaw the restoration of Buddhist sculptures from the Qingzhou Longxing Temple in Zhejiang. Lorusso has also written on the Shroud of Turin, and several articles on Leonardo da Vinci, particularly on the Mona Lisa, and examining evidence of the Isleworth Mona Lisa also being by Leonardo.
