"Bzz.." is a song recorded by Georgian child singing trio Bzikebi. It won for Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008, held in Lemesos, Cyprus scoring 154 points. [1] Its lyrics consist of exclusively onomatopoeias of buzzing wasps.

Cyprus has entered the Junior Eurovision Song Contest ten times since debuting at the first contest in 2003 with Theodora Rafti and the song "Mia efhi". They were forced to withdraw in 2005, as Rena Kiriakidi's "Tsirko" was said to be too similar to another song. However, the Cypriot viewers were able to watch the show and vote.
Georgia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 13 times, debuting at the 2007 contest. Georgia planned to participate in 2009, but decided to withdraw after the European Broadcasting Union demanded it re-write its song which made reference to the then-Russian prime minister now-president, Vladimir Putin. Georgia has reached the final on seven occasions, achieving two top ten placements, with Sofia Nizharadze (2010) and Eldrine (2011) both finishing ninth.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the sixth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is the world's largest song contest for children. It was held at the "Spyros Kyprianou" Athletic Centre in Lemesos, Cyprus and hosted by Alex Michael and Sophia Paraskeva. It was won by the Georgian trio Bzikebi, with the song "Bzz..". Ukraine took 2nd place and Lithuania finished 3rd. Bzikebi also became the first group act to win Junior Eurovision.
Romania was represented by Mădălina & Andrada at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Salvaţi planeta!", a song about saving the planet. "Salvaţi planeta!" was the winner of the Romanian national final Selecţia Naţională Eurovision Junior 2008, held on 1 June 2008.
Armenia selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 entry by a national final with two quarter-finals, one semi-final and a final. The winner was Monika Manchuarova with "Im Ergy Hnchyune", which represented Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 on 22 November 2008.
Belarus selected their Junior Eurovision entry for 2008 through Song For Eurovision, a national final consisting of 20 songs which had to qualify through a semi final to get to the final. The winners were Dasha, Alina & Karina with the song Sertse Belarusi.
The Netherlands selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry for 2008 through Junior Songfestival 2008, a national final consisting of 10 songs spread out into two semi-finals and a final. The final winner was Marissa with the song "1 Dag".
Russia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Lemesos, Cyprus. The Russian entry was selected through a national final, organised by Russian broadcaster All-Russia State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK). The final was held on 1 June 2008. Mikhail Puntov and his song "Spit angel" won the national final, getting 10.81% of votes.

"Cruise" remains their most popular song to date. "Cruise" helped to pioneer a style of country music known as "bro-country", which incorporates production elements from rock and hip-hop music, and tends to cover subject matter such as partying, drinking, driving trucks and sexual attraction. Much of their subsequent music has been tagged with the "bro-country" label as well.
