In December 2014 the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held a total of three CMLL Super Viernes shows on Friday nights as the Friday December 5th slot was replaced with CMLL's major annual show Infierno en el Ring . Several of the Infierno en el Ring matches were as a direct result of matches on the previous months' Super Viernes shows. Some of the matches from Super Viernes were taped for CMLL's weekly shows that aired on television in Mexico in the following week. The Super Viernes events featured a varying number of professional wrestling matches, in which some wrestlers were involved in pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines and others were teamed up with no storyline reason as such. Wrestlers themselves portrayed either villains (referred to as "Rudos" in Mexico) or fan favorites ("Tecnicos" in Mexico) as they competed in matches with predetermined outcomes that is not known to the general public ahead of time.
On December 5, 2014 CMLL held the 2014 version of the Infierno en el Ring show, replacing the regular Super Viernes show on Friday night. [1]

Mexican professional wrestling, or Lucha libre , promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held their 46th CMLL Super Viernes show of 2014 on December 26, 2014 in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The show was the first Super Viernes show following their 2014 Infierno en el Ring show, with some matches being a follow-up to storylines from that show. The main event was another chapter in the feud between the team known as Los Ingobernables (La Máscara and La Sombra) and Shocker and Último Guerrero, a storyline originally centering on Rush and Último Guerrero, but once Rush was injured the storyline became less focused on an individual feud. Los Ingobernables were joined by (at the time) unofficial Ingobernables member Marco Corleone, who was involved in a developing storyline with Thunder who teamed up with Shocker and Último Guerrero for the show. In the fifth match of the night Rey Bucanero, fresh off his win at the Infierno en el Ring main event continued his feud with Volador Jr.

The main event match was the continuation of a storyline that pre-dated the 2014 Infierno en el Ring show as TRT: La Máquina de la Destrucción (Rey Bucanero and El Terrible) continued their feud with Máximo and Volador Jr. for the show TRT teamed up with Shocker to defeat Máximo, Volador Jr. and Atlantis. Mexican professional wrestling, or Lucha libre , promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held their 48th and final CMLL Super Viernes show of 2014 on December 26, 2014 in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The main focus of the show was the first round of a tournament for the vacant CMLL World Welterweight Championship. The participants were; Negro Casas, Delta, Fuego, Kamaitachi, Máscara Dorada, Pólvora, Rey Cometa, Sangre Azteca, Titán and Tritón. In the end Negro Casas and Máscara Dorada survived the elimination match and would meet on the following Super Viernes on January 2 to determine the next champion. [3]

Miguel Ángel Chávez Velasco, better known by his ring name Ángel de Oro, is a Mexican professional wrestler who works for the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The first and second Super Viernes show in October featured the first and final rounds of the La Copa Junior VIP tournament, the second such tournament of 2014, which featured higher ranking wrestlers than the January 1, 2014 version. In the end Máximo defeated Mephisto to win the tournament. The October 31st Super Viernes saw the return of L.A. Park, who had not worked for CMLL since 2008, along with his son El Hijo de L.A. Park.
August started out with the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) holding a special major event called Juicio Final on Friday August 1 instead of their traditional Friday night CMLL Super Viernes show, but for the remaining four Fridays they held their traditional Super Viernes show, CMLL's main weekly show. The shows focused both on continuing storylines from Juicio Final as well as storylines building interest for their next show, the CMLL 81st Anniversary Show. At the Juicio Final show long time rivals Atlantis and Último Guerrero finally agreed to a Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match, for their wrestling masks, which they promoted as La Lucha del siglo. The shows also furthered issues between the trio known as Los Ingobernables and their continuing rivalry with Negro Casas and his team known as La Peste Negra as well as Shocker building towards a match at the 81st Anniversary Show. The August 8 Super Viernes featured the only championship match of the month as Dragón Rojo Jr. successfully defended the CMLL World Middleweight Championship against rival Rey Escorpión, continuing the feud between the two that started when Dragón Rojo Jr. left a group known as Los Revolucionarios del Terror, a group led by Rey Escorpión. August also saw the annual Universal Championship return as CMLL held the two first rounds on the 15th and 22nd. Former Universal Champions La Sombra and Último Guerrero both qualified for the finals and in the end Guerrero won, making him the first ever two time Universal Champion, The August 22, 2014 Super Viernes marked the first Super Viernes show where El Sagrado worked as a heel (referred to as a "Rudo" in Mexico when he teamed up with Misterioso Jr. and El Terrible, losing to the team of Blue Panther, Rey Cometa and Sagrado's rival Fuego.

Infierno en el Ring (2014) was a major professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican lucha libre promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and took place on Friday December 5, 2014 in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The show replaced CMLL's regularly scheduled CMLL Super Viernes show as is tradition with most of CMLL's signature events. The 2014 even marked the sixth time CMLL has held a show under that name with previous shows in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. Each of the shows have been main evented by a multi-man steel cage match, contested under Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match rules referred to as Infierno en el Ring. According to the rules the loser of the match, the last person to remain in the cage, will be forced to have his hair shaved off per Lucha Libre traditions. The event itself was announced on November 14. Five days later CMLL announced the 10 wrestlers competing in the main event; Blue Panther, El Felino, Shocker, El Terrible, Rey Bucanero, Máximo, Bárbaro Cavernario, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr. and Marco Corleone. The show featured an additional four matches.
Los Ingobernables is a lucha libre stable based in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion. It was formed in April 2014 by La Máscara, Rush and La Sombra, and has since become renowned as one of the top antagonistic groups in CMLL history. As members of the group, La Máscara has held the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship and the CMLL World Tag Team Championship alongside Rush, while La Sombra has held the NWA World Historic Middleweight and Welterweight Championships. Through CMLL's working relationship with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Tetsuya Naito joined the stable in 2015, eventually forming an offshoot group named Los Ingobernables de Japón in the Japanese promotion.
Homenaje a Dos Leyendas (2015) was a professional wrestling supercard show event, scripted and produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The Dos Leyendas show took place on March 20, 2015 in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The event was to honor and remember CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, who died in March 1987. Starting in 1999 CMLL honored not just their founder during the show, but also a second lucha libre legend, making it their version of a Hall of Fame event. For the 2015 show CMLL commemorated the life and career of wrestler El Faraón. This was the 17th March show held under the Homenaje a Dos Leyendas name, having previously been known as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth from 1996 to 1998. The 2015 Dos Leyendas show was broadcast live in 60 Cinépolis theaters in Mexico, which was the first time this format was offered in Mexico.
Sin Salida (2015) was a major professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican Lucha Libre-promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on Friday night July 17, 2015, in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, nicknamed "the cathedral of Lucha Libre" in lieu of CMLL's normally scheduled Super Viernes show. The main event was a best two-out-of-three falls Lucha de Apuestas, or bet match where both Rey Escorpión and Último Guerrero "bet" their hair on the outcome of the match and the loser was forced to have all his hair shaved off afterwards as per Lucha Libre traditions. The show also hosted two first-round matches of CMLL's 2015 En Busca de un Ídolo tournament where Esfinge wrestled Canelo Casas and Delta was supposed to face Blue Panther Jr., but wrestled Hechicero instead. The show contained four additional matches. Although it was not announced ahead of time, the first six matches of the show were broadcast live on the Terra Networks' home page for free.
