Calotes medogensis, the Medog bloodsucker, is a species of agamid lizard. [1] [2] It is endemic to Tibet (China). [1]
Calotes is a genus of lizards in the draconine clade of the family Agamidae. The genus contains 25 species. Some species are known as forest lizards, others as "bloodsuckers" due to their red heads, and yet others as garden lizards.
Hardwicke's bloodsucker is an agamid lizard and found in South Asia.
Monilesaurus ellioti, or Elliot's forest lizard, is a species of arboreal, diurnal, lizard in the family Agamidae, endemic to the Western Ghats, India.

Monilesaurus rouxii, commonly known as Roux's forest lizard, Roux's forest calotes, or the forest blood sucker, is a species of arboreal, diurnal, agamid lizard, which is endemic to hills of peninsular India. In July 2018, it was proposed that the species should be transferred to the new genus Monilesaurus.
The Medog horned toad, or Medog spadefoot toad, is a species of frog in the family Megophryidae. It was described as a subspecies of Omei horned toad based on specimens collected from Mêdog County, Tibet (China); it is still only known from its type locality. It probably has a wider distribution that may reach India. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and rivers.
Liurana medogensis, commonly known as Medog papilla-tongued frog or Medog eastern frog, is a species of frog in the family Ceratobatrachidae. It is found in Mêdog County, Tibet (China) and in Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India. However, the records from India might represent another species, and the IUCN SSC Amphibian Specialist Group (2020) does not include them in the range of this species.
Amolops medogensis is a species of frog in the family Ranidae, the "true frogs". It is endemic to Mêdog County in southeastern Tibet, China; its range might extend into the adjacent Arunachal Pradesh, India. Common name Medog torrent frog has been proposed for it.
Nanorana medogensis is a species of frog in the family Dicroglossidae. It is endemic to Tibet, China, and only known from near its type locality in Mêdog County in southeastern Tibet, near the Indian border. It lives in forested streams, and is sometimes also found at the edges of pools and ponds.
The spineless forest lizard, crestless lizard or lionhead agama is a species of lizard in the family Agamidae. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
The Gansu mole is a species of mammal in the family Talpidae endemic to central China, where it occurs in Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, and Qinghai. It is the only species in the genus Scapanulus.
Microauris is a monotypic genus of agamid lizard. Its only species is Microauris aurantolabium, also known as the small-eared dragon or orange-lipped forest lizard, found in the forests of the southern Western Ghats and is currently known from the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve. The species was formerly included in Pseudocalotes andamanensis of the Andaman Islands, but recognized as distinct in 2008. It was also classified under Calotes until 2018, where it was transferred to its own genus, Microauris, on the basis of its divergence from Calotes.
Calotes bachae is a species of lizards in the family Agamidae. This species is found in open areas of Cat Tien National Park, in dense tropical forests in Bu Gia Map National Park and in parks in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. It was formerly thought that Calotes bachae was Calotes mystaceus which inhabits in Burma and Thailand due to their similar appearance. However, genetic analysis and studying the size and scale characteristics have shown that they are separate species. The result of study was published in an article on Zootaxa in January 2013.
Gracixalus medogensis, also known as the Medog bubble-nest frog or Medog small treefrog, is a species of shrub frog, family Rhacophoridae. As currently known, it is endemic to the Mêdog County in southern Tibet, although its distribution might extend into the adjacent Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India.
