Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, LLC. is a restaurant group headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. It owns restaurants under various names, many of which are located in Central Ohio.

While remaining independent and privately held, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants has grown to 50 restaurant locations across the country from Beverly Hills to New York City, and 20 different concepts in 15 states and the District of Columbia, including the steakhouse and seafood restaurant, Ocean Prime. Cameron Mitchell also runs a separate catering company, Cameron Mitchell Premier Events. [1]

The group's Ocean Prime concept opened in Troy, Michigan in June 2008 and has locations in Columbus (under the name Mitchell's Ocean Club) and in seventeen other cities across the United States. [2] The company also manages and co-owns a sister company, Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. [3]

The group formerly owned the Mitchell's Steakhouse and Mitchell's Fish Market brands, but sold both of these concepts along with one Cameron's Steakhouse location to Ruth's Chris in February 2008. [4]

Cameron Mitchell is president and founder of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. He gained notoriety in the restaurant industry in 2008, when two of the company's concepts: Mitchell's/Columbus Fish Market and Mitchell's/Cameron's Steakhouse—a total of 22 units—sold to Ruth's Hospitality Group for $92 million. [30]

Mitchell is a 1986 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, where he was the first alumnus to hold the position of Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees. He is also the school's largest alumni donor. [31]

In 1993, Mitchell began Cameron Mitchell Restaurants by opening its first concept, Cameron's American Bistro. As a result of the development of several new concepts and expansion of its more popular concepts, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants became a 33-unit, multi-concept operation with locations in nine states. Before the sale of its two biggest concepts in 2008, the company's annual sales surpassed $120 million.

Interstate 270 (I-270) is an auxiliary interstate highway that forms a beltway loop freeway in the Columbus metropolitan area in the US state of Ohio, commonly known locally as The Outerbelt or the Jack Nicklaus Freeway. The zero-milepost is at the junction with Interstate 71 east of Grove City, intersecting with I-71 again near Worthington as well as connecting with Interstate 70 twice with the western junction near Lincoln Village and the eastern junction near Reynoldsburg. The route furthermore links to the eastern terminus of Interstate 670 near Gahanna and provides indirect access to John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The entire length of I-270 is 54.97 miles (88.47 km). It is one of four Interstate loops not to run concurrently with another Interstate freeway, the others being I-295 in Florida, I-485 in North Carolina, and I-610 in Texas.

The company currently owns 21 restaurants in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, and Florida. Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern is the sister company of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.

Ocean Prime is a steakhouse and seafood restaurant concept owned by Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, consisting of 18 restaurants in 14 states plus Washington, D.C. Mitchell's Ocean Club opened in August 2006, starting the Ocean Prime brand in Columbus, Ohio, and the first Ocean Prime outside of Ohio opened in Troy, Michigan in June 2008. The Law and Finance Building is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building was built in 1927 for the Ohio State Savings Association, a local bank. It was designed in the Art Moderne style by architects Simons, Brittain & English. For a short time, the building held the offices of its architects, and was the central office of sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma from 1929 to 1952. The building now holds office space, and has a steakhouse on the original banking lobby floor.

The Kahiki Supper Club was a Polynesian-themed restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. The supper club was one of the largest tiki-themed restaurants in the United States, and for a time, the only one in Ohio. It operated at its Eastmoor location on Broad Street beginning in 1961, at the height of tiki culture's popularity. The Kahiki was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, but closed and was demolished in 2000. It was described as an exceptionally important example of a themed restaurant and the most elaborate tiki restaurant ever built.

Budd Dairy Food Hall is a food hall in the Italian Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Cameron Mitchell Restaurants-run hall holds ten foodservice locations, three bars, and indoor, patio, and rooftop seating. It is situated in the historic Budd Dairy Company building, a former milk processing and distribution facility. The space was renovated beginning in 2018, and opened in April 2021.

63 is a four-story shopping mall on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is part of the CityCenter complex, developed by MGM Resorts International. The two-acre site was previously planned as The Harmon, a hotel within CityCenter. However, due to structural defects, the hotel never opened and was dismantled in 2015. The property was sold six years later to developer Brett Torino and partner Flag Luxury Group, with plans to build retail space on the site. Construction of 63 began in June 2021, and the first business in the mall opened in April 2023.
