Yasuhiro Nakasone was a Japanese politician who served as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the Liberal Democratic Party from 1982 to 1987. He was a member of the House of Representatives for more than 50 years. He was best known for pushing through the privatization of state-owned companies, and for helping to revitalize Japanese nationalism during and after his term as prime minister.

The type species, P. leguminicola, is associated with stem and root rot of the mimosoid tree Leucaena leucocephala. Pseudolagarobasidium species grow on wood, and may be saprobes, endophytes, or parasites.

He concurrently serves as the Director of the National Security Agency and as Chief of the Central Security Service. Previously, he served as the Commander of the United States Army Cyber Command. Nakasone took command of the United States Second Army and Cyber Command in October 2016, until the Second Army's inactivation in March 2017. In May 2018, he became head of the National Security Agency, the Central Security Service, and the United States Cyber Command.
