It includes a 0.686-mile (1.104 km) oval track, a 2.5-mile (4.0 km) road course, and a 4,400-foot (1,300 m) drag strip which is among the premier drag racing venues in the world.
World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway is a motorsport race track in Madison, Illinois, just east of St. Louis, Missouri, United States, close to the Gateway Arch. It features a 1.25-mile (2 kilometer) oval used by the NTT IndyCar Series and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, a 1.6-mile (2.6 km) infield road course used by SCCA, Porsche Club of America and various car clubs, and quarter-mile drag strip that hosts an annual National Hot Rod Association event.

The drag strip hosts several drag racing events including the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). The facility is owned and operated by International Speedway Corporation and is located adjacent to Chicagoland Speedway. The 2019 winners of the Route 66 NHRA Nationals were Tommy Johnson Jr., Steve Torrence, Deric Kramer and Matt Smith.
Sanair Super Speedway is a motorsports park with a 0.826-mile (1.33 km) paved triangular oval race track, a quarter-mile dragstrip, a 1 1/4-mile road course, a 1/3-mile oval, as well as a 0.12-mile mini-oval and 0.15-mile karting course. It is located in Saint-Pie, Quebec. It hosted the Molson Indy Montreal from 1984 to 1986. The dragstrip previously hosted the NHRA's Le Grandnationals Molson until Canadian fuel regulations, prohibiting leaded race fuel, forced the NHRA to quit holding a national event in the country. It currently hosts races in the American Canadian Tour Sèrie ACT Castrol.

Since its opening in 1961, the dragstrip has hosted the NHRA's Winternationals event – the traditional season opener – and since 1984, the season's last race, the NHRA Finals. These two events have contributed to its becoming perhaps one of the most famous dragstrips in North America. The facility has a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators, and it is one of the few dragstrips in the USA that is operated directly by the NHRA. This dragstrip has also gone by the nickname of The Fairplex, in reference to its location at the Fairplex, formerly called the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds.

The dragstrip boasts a three-story tower building that incorporates 23 VIP suites, a media center, and race control facilities equipped with timing and scoring equipment. In 2000, Houston Raceway Park opened a new high banked 3/8 mile dirt oval at the facility.

BriSCA Formula 2 Stock Cars is a class of single seater auto racing in the UK. Cars are custom-built and race on oval tracks of either shale or tarmac of up to a quarter-mile in length. The tracks they race on are surrounded by either steel plate or post and wire fences to keep the cars on the track. Racing involves contact, drivers are allowed to push, punt or spin fellow competitors out of the way. The cars are very strong and are of an open wheel design, but are designed with the contact element in mind, with front and rear bumpers and a sturdy chassis and roll cage.
Edmonton International Raceway is a 1/4 mile paved oval auto racing facility, located outside Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of Edmonton. The track is the first in Alberta to be sanctioned by NASCAR, and hosts races in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. It hosted its first NASCAR Pinty's Series race in 2014.
