The Central District of Borujen County (Persian : بخش مرکزی شهرستان بروجن) is in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Borujen. [3]

The village of Naqneh was elevated to the status of a city in 2007. [4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 77,884 in 19,489 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 82,225 people in 22,708 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 86,915 inhabitants living in 25,722 households. [2]
