Cerosterna stolzi is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Coenraad Ritsema in 1911. [1] [2] It is known from Borneo (Malaysia: Sabah), Java, and Sumatra (Indonesia). [2]
Cerosterna stolzi measure about 26–33 mm (1.0–1.3 in) in length. [2]

The common name "carpenter bee" derives from their nesting behavior; nearly all species burrow into hard plant material such as dead wood or bamboo.
