The Cerro del Obispado (Spanish for Bishopric Hill) is a famous landmark in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, named after the building constructed in the middle of the slope by the end of the 18th century.
The hill is a popular recreational area that includes a public lookout point (Mirador del Obispado), a monumental flag, and the famous Bishopric Palace (Palacio del Obispado).

Monterrey is the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León, Mexico, and the ninth largest city and second largest metro area in Mexico behind Greater Mexico City. Located at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Oriental, Monterrey is a major North American business and industrial hub, as well as the most populous city in Northern Mexico.
Faro del Comercio is a monument designed by the accomplished Mexican architect Luis Barragán and constructed in 1984 by architect Raúl Ferrera. It is a recognizable sight in Monterrey among many other modern manmade landmarks, such as Neptune's Fountain, the Monterrey City Hall, the Papal Bridge, and the Bridge of Unity in San Pedro, connecting that municipality to Monterrey. These sites are intended on one hand to complement the city's few remaining traditional landmarks, such as, the Bishopric Palace and Museum, the City's Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the State of Nuevo León Government building, on the north end of the Macroplaza. On the other hand, they are also intended to project an image of a city that prides itself as being the most progressive large industrial city of Mexico.
The Cerro de la Silla is a mountain and natural monument, It is part of the foothills system of the Sierra Madre Oriental. It is found covering territorial parts of the municipalities of Guadalupe (31.62%), Monterrey (13.23%) and Juárez (55.15%), in the state of Nuevo León, and constitutes an icon of the city of Monterrey and a symbol for the people of Monterrey.
The banderas monumentales are a collection of tall flagpoles containing large flags of Mexico located throughout Mexico. They are part of a program started in 1999 under President Ernesto Zedillo that is currently administered by the Secretariat of National Defense. The main feature of these monuments is a giant Mexican flag flying off a 50-meter-high (160-ft) flagpole. The size of the flag was 14.3 by 25 metres and it was flown on a pole that measured 50 metres (160 ft) high. In the time after the decree was issued, many more banderas monumentales have been installed throughout the country in various sizes. Many of the locations were chosen due to significant events in Mexican history that occurred there.

The Cerro de las Mitras, is a mountain and a protected area in the Monterrey, San Pedro Garza García, Santa Catarina and García municipalities; state of Nuevo León, México. The mountain is part of the Sierra Madre Oriental, the summit reaches 2,058 MASL, and has 1,303 meters of prominence, the topographic isolation is about 14.48 km. The ridge is about 21 km long stretching east to west. The name comes from the resemblance of the peaks in the ridge with a bishop's mitre.

Matamoros Lighthouse is a defunct lighthouse along Matamoros Street, in colonia Centro, Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. A beacon, the structure was built by Roberto Alcazar and inaugurated on August 15, 1932. It operated until June 1978, and upon retirement, was deemed a historic landmark.
