Chahar Chenar (Persian : چهارچنار‎, also Romanized as Chahār Chenār)^[1] is a village in Estarabad-e Shomali Rural District, Baharan District, Gorgan County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 948, in 244 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Estarabad-e Shomali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Baharan District, Gorgan County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 17,553, in 4,423 families. The rural district has 17 villages.

Baharan District is a district (bakhsh) in Gorgan County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 48,074, in 12,191 families. The District has one city: Sarkhon Kalateh. The District has three rural districts (dehestans): Estarabad-e Shomali Rural District and Qoroq Rural District.
