Chahar Qaleh (Persian : چهارقلعه‎, also Romanized as Chahār Qal‘eh)^[1] is a village in Karaftu Rural District, in the Central District of Takab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 85, in 20 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Karaftu Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Takab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,586, in 891 families. The rural district has 20 villages.
