Nabi Kandi (Persian : نبي كندي‎, also Romanized as Nabī Kandī; also known as Benī Kandī and Nabi Kand)^[1] is a village in Saruq Rural District, Takht-e Soleyman District, Takab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,383, in 245 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Saruq Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Takht-e Soleyman District, Takab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,490, in 1,621 families. The rural district has 13 villages.
