Sunil Panjabrao Deshmukh is the Member of Legislative Assembly from the constituency of Amravati, Maharashtra, India. He is a member of Indian National Congress (INC). He is a former Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Public Works and Energy in Government of Maharashtra and was also the guardian minister for Amravati and Bhandara districts of Vidarbha, Maharashtra from 2004–2009. He has also served as the ex-officio Vice-Chairman of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board's holding company and was the co-chairman of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd.

In 2014, he was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly to serve for a fifth consecutive term. He also holds additional charge as the Guardian Minister of Chandrapur and Wardha districts. In March 2024, he was announced as the BJP candidate for the Chandrapur constituency in the 2024 General Elections.

Elections for the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Uttarakhand state, India are conducted in accordance with the Constitution of India. The legislative assembly of Uttarakhand creates laws regarding the conduct of local body elections unilaterally while any changes by the state legislature to the conduct of state level elections need to be approved by the Parliament of India. In addition, the state legislature may be dismissed by the Parliament according to Article 356 of the Indian Constitution and President's rule may be imposed.

Devendra Singh alias Bhole Singh is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and has won the 2014, 2019 and 2024 general election from the Akbarpur parliamentary constituency of Kanpur. He also won 1991 and 1996 Vidhan Sabha Election from Derapur Assembly constituency of Kanpur Dehat district.

Vishnu Savara was a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His parents belonged to a family of farmers residing in the village of Galtare in Wada, a tehsil in Palghar district. Savara, a cabinet minister for tribal development in the government of Maharashtra, was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Wada constituency in 1990, 1995, 1999, and 2004. In 2009, after delimitation, he won the Bhiwandi Rural Vidhan Sabha election. In the 2014 assembly election, Savara won the Vikramgad Vidhan Sabha seat.

Pravin Pote known as P. R. Pote Patil is a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council, belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He represents the Amravati local body constituency. He was appointed Maharashtra's Minister of State in December, 2014 with the portfolio Industries and Mining, Environment, Public Works. Later in the same month, he was also given responsibility of being guardian minister of Amravati district.
