The Members of 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly were elected in the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election, with results announced on 23 November 2024. [2] [3]
The Bharatiya Janata Party emerged as the single largest party winning 132 seats alone, and its alliance Maha Yuti secured a record 237 seats. Devendra Fadnavis of Bharatiya Janata Party was sworn in as the new CM. None of the opposition parties could win even 10% of the seats.
