The Thirteenth Tripura Assembly was formed after 2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly election. Elections were held in 60 constituencies on 16 February 2023. Votes were counted on 2 March 2023. [1]

History

Bharatiya Janata Party led alliance won election with 33(BJP 32 + IPFT 1) seats while newcomer Tipra Motha Party become second largest party with 13 seats. Communist Party of India (Marxist) led Secular Democratic Forces won 14(11 CPIM + 3 INC). [2]

Rizwan Arshad is an Indian politician serving the Indian National Congress from the southern state of India, Karnataka. He became an MLA for the first time in December 2019 after winning the bypolls from Shivajinagar Assembly. He was the Congress candidate for Bangalore Central constituency in the 2014 Lok Sabha election, where he lost against BJP's P. C. Mohan. Ramesh Jarkiholi an Indian politician, former minister of Water Resources in the Government of Karnataka, between 2020 and 2021. Pushkar Singh Dhami is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, serving as the 10th and the current Chief Minister of Uttarakhand since 2021. He represents the Champawat Assembly constituency in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly since 2022 and previously from Khatima from 2012 to 2022. He lost his seat in 2022 elections, but was re-elected as Chief Minister by BJP MLAs. He is the only Chief Minister of the state to assume a second consecutive term as CM, since its creation.

The 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election was held on 12 May 2018 in 222 constituencies to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The election was postponed in Jayanagar and Rajarajeshwari Nagar, following the death of the MLA B. N. Vijaya Kumar and a voter fraud scandal respectively till 28 May. The election saw a voter turnout of 72.13 per cent, the highest in Karnataka since several decades. The counting of votes took place on 15 May 2018.

The 2022 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election have elected the incumbent fifth Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. Elections were held on 14 February 2022 when Bharatiya Janata Party emerged as the single largest party with 47 seats in the 70-seat legislature and formed the government. The Indian National Congress with 19 seats served as the opposition.

The Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of West Bengal constituted after the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections which were concluded earlier on 29 April 2021 and the results were announced on 2 May 2021. The tenure of West Bengal Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 7 May 2026.

The Fourteenth Nagaland Assembly is formed by the members elected in 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. Election were held in 59 constituencies on 27th February 2023 and 1 member elected unopposed from Akuluto. Votes were counted on 2nd March 2023.

Tafajjal Hossain is an Indian politician. He serves as a Member of the Tripura Legislative Assembly representing the Boxanagar Assembly constituency since September 8, 2023. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is also the first BJP MLA from the Muslim community in Tripura.

Bindu Debnath is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party who is serving as member of Tripura Legislative Assembly from Dhanpur Assembly constituency.
