The National Democratic Alliance is a right-wing Indian political group led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was founded on 15 May 1998 and currently controls the government of India as well as the government of 19 Indian states and one Union territory.
The Peasants and Workers Party of India (PWP) is a Marxist political party in Maharashtra, India. The party was founded in 1948, having its roots from the pre-Independence period and has around 10,000 members. The influence of the party is largely limited to three districts. Swabhimani Paksha is a political party in Maharashtra, India, formed by Raju Shetti, as a political wing of the Swabhimani Shetkari Saghtana after its split from the Shetkari Sanghatana led by Sharad Joshi in 2004. In 2004, Raju Shetti was elected to the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha from Shirol constituency as a Swabhimani Paksha candidate. Later, he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009 from Hatkanangle constituency. In 2019, Devendra Mahadevrao Bhuyar was elected to the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha from Morshi constituency as a Swabhimani Paksha candidate.
Devappa Anna Shetti is an Indian Politician and former Member of Parliament of India from Hatkanangle constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. He is the president of the Swabhimani Paksha, the political party which he founded in 2004, after separating from the Shetkari Sanghatana. He also founded Swabhimani Shetkari Saghtana.

Upendra Kumar Singh, commonly known as Upendra Kushwaha is an Indian politician, and a former Member of Bihar Legislative Council and Bihar Legislative Assembly. He has also served as Minister of State for Human Resources and Development in the Government of India. Kushwaha is a former Member of Parliament (MP) from the Karakat constituency in Rohtas district, Bihar, and a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was the leader of Rashtriya Samata Party (RSP), his own party, which merged into Janata Dal (United) (JDU) in 2009. Later, he formed Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), which also merged with JD(U) in 2021. On 20 February 2023, Kushwaha resigned from all positions in Janata Dal (United) and formed his own party called Rashtriya Lok Morcha due to his political problems with JD(U) and Nitish Kumar. Kushwaha contested the Lok Sabha election of 2024 from Karakat constituency and finished at a distant third position. However, he was elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha in August 2024.

He is the founder and National President of Rashtriya Samaj Paksha, an Indian political party based in Maharashtra, founded in 2003.
The Suheldev Bharatiya SamajParty is an Indian political party founded in 2002. The party is led by Om Prakash Rajbhar, Cabinet Minister in Uttar Pradesh. The party has its headquarters in Rasra, Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh. The party has a yellow flag.
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis.
The 2019 Indian general election in Maharashtra was held in April 2019. These were held for 48 seats in 4 phases; 11 April, 18 April, 23 April and 29 April 2019.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi, is a state-level political coalition formed after the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray of SHS (UBT), Sharad Pawar of the NCP and Sonia Gandhi of the INC, along with the support from the Samajwadi Party, PWPI, CPI(M) and several other political parties including Independent MLAs. MVA is currently the official opposition in Maharashtra Legislature.
Gopichand Kundalik Padalkar is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council. He got elected to the Legislative Council by MLA's (unopposed) on 14 May 2020. Previously he was with the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, he started his political career with the Rashtriya Samaj Paksha. He rejoined BJP before the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Elections. He is also a film maker and an actor.
The Maha Yuti, formed in 2014, was a political coalition in Maharashtra, India. Currently the alliance consists of three major parties - the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena (SS) and Nationalist Congress Party - along with smaller partners such as Republican Party of India (Athawale), Rashtriya Samaj Paksha and many others.
