Chantal Botts (born 30 March 1976) is a South African badminton player. Botts was the gold medallist in the women's doubles event at the 2003 and 2007 All-Africa Games. [1] She represented South Africa at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games partnered with Michelle Edwards. [2]

Christoffel Cornelius Dednam is a badminton player from South Africa. Dednam was the gold medallists at the 2003 All-Africa Games in the mixed doubles event, and in 2007 in the men's doubles event. He competed at the 2004, 2008 Olympic Games, and at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Dednam played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's singles, losing in the round of 32 to Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand. He also competed in mixed doubles with partner Antoinette Uys. They lost to Tsai Chia-Hsin and Cheng Wen-Hsing of Chinese Taipei in the round of 32. At the 2008 Olympics, he played in the men's doubles event with his brother Roelof Dednam, but the duo was defeated by Howard Bach and Khan Bob Malaythong of United States in the first round.

Eileen Karen Lee Chin Foo Kune, born 29 May 1982 is a Mauritian badminton player and politician. She was the Mauritian sportswoman of the year in 2004 and 2009. She participated in badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics and made it to the Commonwealth Games in 2002, 2006, and 2010. In 2011, she won the bronze medals at the All-Africa Games in the women's doubles and mixed team event.

Michelle Li is a Canadian badminton player. Li is the 2014 Commonwealth Games champion and the first Canadian to win an individual gold medal in women's singles badminton at the Commonwealth Games. She has won gold in both singles and doubles at the Pan American Games and won the singles and team event titles from the Pan American Badminton Championships. As a competitor for Ontario, Li also won singles, doubles, and mixed team titles at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.

Grace Kubi Daniel is a Nigerian badminton player. She defeated South Africa's Michelle Claire Edwards for the gold medal in the women's singles, and also, teamed up with Susan Ideh for a silver in the doubles at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria.

Tania Ann Luiz is an Australian badminton player. At the age of nine, Luiz moved with her family to Melbourne, Australia. She was the women's doubles gold medalist at the 2019 African Games. Hany featured in Egypt team that for the first time won the All Africa Women's Team Championships in 2020, also claimed two title in the individual competition by winning the women's and mixed doubles event. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in three different events; women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Michelle Butler-Emmett is a South African badminton player. She was the All-Africa Games silver medalists in the mixed doubles in 2015 and in the team event in 2011 and 2015. Butler-Emmett won the African Championships in the mixed doubles in 2013 and 2014, also in the women's doubles in 2017.

Johanita Scholtz is a South African badminton player. Scholtz won her first senior international title at the 2017 Botswana International tournament. She competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She was the women's singles gold medalist at the 2019 African Games, also won bronze medals in the team and women's doubles events.
