Chelvan Sara (Persian : چلوانسرا‎, also Romanized as Chelvān Sarā; also known as Chalmansarā)^[1] is a village in Khorgam Rural District, Khorgam District, Rudbar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 66, in 19 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Khorgam Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khorgam District, Rudbar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,715, in 1,672 families. The rural district has 30 villages.

Khorgam District is a district (bakhsh) in Rudbar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,465, in 2,993 families. The District has one city: Barehsar. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Dolfak Rural District and Khorgam Rural District.
