Chrysozephyrus birupa, the fawn hairstreak, [1] [2] is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
The butterfly was previously classified as Thecla birupa Moore. [3]
The butterfly occurs in north west India from Simla to Kumaon, [1] [3] and in Nepal. [4]
