Chyphotes is a genus of wasps in the family Chyphotidae. There are more than 50 described species in Chyphotes found in the United States and Mexico, all with wingless females. ^{[1] [2] [3]} Chyphotes are nocturnal, and some males are wingless as well. ^[3]
