Cirsonella pisiformis is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Skeneidae. [1]

This mollusk was collected by RV Tangaroa in Middlesex Bank near Three Kings Islands on January 31st 1981 and identified as part of Skeneidae family by Dr Bruce Marshall in 2016 with registration number M.303086.

Description

The height of the shell attains 1.3 mm, its diameter 1.5 mm.

Distribution

This marine species is endemic to New Zealand. It occurs off Three Kings Islands at a depth of 260 m.
