A legislative election in the Czech Republic took place on 28–29 May 2010 to elect the members of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. The election had been expected to take place sometime before the end of 2009, but was postponed due to legal challenges. Before the election, the country had been governed by a caretaker administration headed by Jan Fischer. The Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was the front-runner of the election and its leader Jiří Paroubek was favourite to become the new Prime Minister.
The 2013 Czech political corruption scandal started with a raid against organized crime which was conducted in the Czech Republic in June 2013 by the Police Unit for Combating Organized Crime and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc. It involved several highly positioned state officers and politicians, as well as controversial entrepreneurs and lobbyists. The scandal affected the top levels of Czech politics, including Prime Minister Petr Nečas and his coalition government. On 17 June 2013, it resulted in the resignation of the Prime Minister and the cabinet. Nečas also quit as leader of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS).
Civic Democratic Party presidential primaries, 2012 were held for Czech presidential election, 2013 from 30 April to 28. June 2012. It were the first presidential primaries in the Czech Republic. Přemysl Sobotka on the primaries with 61% of votes against 39 votes for the other candidate, Evžen Tošenovský. Primaries suffered for low voter turnout as only 6.203 from 27,000 Party members voted.

Candidates include former Minister of Education and Chairman of Masaryk University Petr Fiala, former Prime Minister candidate Miroslava Němcová and MEP Edvard Kožušník. Fiala was nominated by 12 regional organisations and thus was considered a front-runner. Fiala was also endorsed by acting leader of ODS Martin Kuba. Edvard Kožušník was endorsed by Liberec Region organisation of ODS. Over 500 delegates voted.

A leadership election for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) was held in the Czech Republic on 14 December 1997. It followed a political crisis caused by allegations that the party had received illegal donations and was maintaining a secret slush which resulted in fall of the government. In some subsequent opinion polls, the Freedom Union polled over 10% of the vote and was expected by some commentators to become the major centre-right party. However, the 1998 elections saw the party receive only 8.6% of vote, while the ODS remained the main right-wing party.

The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) held a leadership election on 19 May 2012. Incumbent leader Vojtěch Filip faced Stanislav Grospič. Potential candidates included Miroslav Grebeníček, Marta Semelová and Jiří Dolejš. Filip was reelected when he received 275 votes from delegates while Grospiš only 168 votes.
The next Civic Democratic Party (ODS) leadership election will be held on 13 January 2018. The incumbent leader Petr Fiala seeks reelection. Shadow Minister of Education Václav Klaus Jr. was widely expected to run against Fiala. He is considered to be the most visible politician of the party. In December 2016, Czech bookmaker company Fortuna wrote a course for Klaus Jr. to replace Fiala on 20:1. Klaus Jr.. decided to not run against Fiala. Approximately 540 delegates were allowed to vote. Fiala received 451 votes and was elected for another term.
Martin Baxa is a Czech politician who has been Civic Democratic Member of the Chamber of Deputies (MP) since October 2017. He previsouly served as Mayor of Plzeň from 2010 to 2014. He returned to the position in November 2018.
A leadership election for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) was held on 29 November in Kopřivnice. Václav Klaus was reelected as party's leader. He received 220 votes while 48 delegates voted against him. Klaus's victory was considered certain. Václav Benda had a speech during the election in which he criticised Klaus' politics. Election was marked by technical problems. After voting was finished, it was found out that there were 5 moe votes than delegates. Election was then repeated.

Alexandra Udženija is a Czech politician of Serbian descent. She studied economics at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) and other schools. In 2003 she joined the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and represented the party in Prague municipal politics. In 2014, she became the deputy leader of ODS.
The Czech Pirate Party leadership election of 2012 was held on 25 August 2012. Ivan Bartoš was reelected when he defeated Petr Bajgar. Bajgar was nominated by South Moravian Piraret.
