The first edition of the Bangladeshi music television series Coke Studio Bangla aired starting from 7 February to 1 September 2022. The season was produced by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and distributed by Coca-Cola Bangladesh. [1] [2]

Speaking at the launch of Coke Studio Bangla Season 1, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob said, [3]

Coke Studio is the embodiment of cultural fusion and soothing mixture of diverse melodies. And being able to join the platform as a music producer is a matter of great pride for me.

Black is a Bangladeshi alternative rock band formed in 1998 in Dhaka. It was originally formed by Jon Kabir, Mushfeque Jahan, and Tony Vincent (drums). They were soon joined by Mahmudul Karim Miraz, and in 2000, Tahsan Rahman Khan.

The Cinema of Bangladesh is a diverse and vibrant entity, consisting of films produced across various regions, each contributing its unique linguistic and cultural perspective. Beyond the dominant Dhaka based Bengali-language film industry Dhallywood', which is a portmanteau of "Dhaka" and "Hollywood", Bangladesh is home to cinema in several other languages and dialects. For instance, Chakma cinema from Bandarban, Garo cinema from Sherpur, Meitei and Sylheti cinema from Sylhet, Chatgaiya cinema from Chattogram. These regional cinemas play a crucial role in preserving and promoting the linguistic and cultural heritage of the country. The dominant style of Bangladeshi cinema is melodramatic cinema, which developed from 1947 to 1990 and characterizes most films to this day. Cinema was introduced in Bangladesh in 1898 by the Bradford Bioscope Company, credited to have arranged the first film release in Bangladesh. Between 1913 and 1914, the first production company, Picture House, was opened. A 1928 short silent film titled Sukumari was the first Bengali-produced film in the region. The first full-length film, The Last Kiss, was released in 1931.

Shayan Chowdhury Arnob is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, musician, painter, filmmaker, animator and producer. Arnob was the founding member of the indie folk band Bangla which later went hiatus for internal reasons. Arnob continued performing with some of the band members as Arnob and Friends.

Anusheh Anadil is a Bangladeshi musician, artist, cultural activist, and social entrepreneur. The band 'Bangla' was the first female lead band from Bangladesh that became iconically popular in both Bangladesh and West Bengal (India), for their first album Kingkortobbobimuro (2002). Their rendition of spiritual folk songs, along with their own original songs, became a revolution for bringing the sounds of the village bard into popular culture. They helped popularize the philosophy of Fakir Lalon Shai, as a breath of fresh air, to the urban youth. Bangla's second album Prottutponnomotitto (2005) is a tribute to Fakir Lalon Shai. The album questions religious extremism and corrupt politics by using songs of the insightful mystic. The band 'Bangla' inspired many young musicians from both sides of Bengal to rediscover their roots.

Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a Bangladeshi actress, singer and development worker known professionally by the mononym Mithila. Besides her film work in both Bangladesh and Kolkata, India, she is the head of the Early Childhood Development programme in BRAC International.She is known as "beshsha magi"," khanki","multi plug"

Bangla is a folk-rock band from Bangladesh formed by the popular indie musician Shayan Chowdhury Arnob in 1999. Bangla mainly blends the traditional Bangladeshi folk genres like Baul, Lalon together with western flavours like jazz, blues, rock etc. The band released its first album Kingkortobbobimurho in 2002. Over the years, the band has emerged as a prominent music group in the country and became one of the most sought after bands, especially among the urban youth listeners.

She Je Boshe Ache is a Bangladeshi song, which was first released in 2004 as the title track of the teleplay Off Beat, which started at 36:55 of the teleplay. The original acoustic version, the one released in the teleplay, was written, composed, and sung by Arnob. Later, it was performed by Black in their compilation album Shopnochura which was released in the same year. In 2005, Arnob released the original version in his debut album Chaina Bhabish. However, because the Black version was released in 2004 and Arnob's original version was also included in his debut album Chaina Bhabish much later in 2005, many confused the version performed by Black to be the original one.

<i>Padma Patar Jol</i> 2015 Bangladeshi film by Tanmay Tansen

Padma Patar Jol is a 2015 Bangladeshi Bengali language historical romantic drama film written by Latiful Islam Shibli and directed by Tonmoy Tansen. The film is produced by Sheikh Asifur Rahman, as his production company Tripod Films funded the project. The plot is based on a British colonial era story. It stars Mamnun Hasan Emon, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Tariq Anam Khan and Amit Hasan in lead roles with Chitralekha Guho, Nima Rahman and Nipun Akter appearing in supporting roles. The film was released on 18 July 2015.

Apeiruss is a Bangladeshi EDM composer, music producer and DJ duo consisting of Sheikh Saami Mahmud & Sheikh Shafi Mahmud. They are one of the most reputed EDM artist in the mainstream Bangladeshi music industry. Apart from Bangladesh, they also left their footprint in the Bollywood scene where they worked on many film songs and singles. They kicked off their career with their debut track “Bijoyer Shopno” back in 2014 with various artists. They produced "Bhalobeshe Niruddeshe" (2016) & "Cholona Harai" (2017) for Tahsan. Some of their notable Bollywood music production are with Amaal Mallik, Armaan Malik & Arko Pravo Mukherjee. In October 2019, "Ishqam" was released by Mika Singh and Ali Quli Mirza and it was entirely composed and produced by Apeiruss. "Ishqam" since gathered around 230 million views on Youtube.

Coke Studio Bangla, also known as Coke Studio Bangladesh, is a Bangladeshi television series which is the local installment of the Coke Studio franchise, featuring studio-recorded music performances by established and emerging Bangladeshi artists with the goal of promoting Bangladeshi music.

<i>Coke Studio Bangla</i> season 2 Second television season of Coke Studio Bangla

The second edition of the Bangladeshi music television series Coke Studio Bangla started airing from 14 February 2023. Like the previous season this season is also produced by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob and distributed by Coca-Cola Bangladesh. Spotify is the official music streaming partner of this season, and Grameenphone being their official teleco partner.

Armeen Musa is a Bangladeshi music director, composer, singer-songwriter, and actor. She is the first Bangladeshi composer to be part of a Grammy Nominated album, Shuruat by Berklee Indian Ensemble.

The third season of the Bangladeshi music television series Coke Studio Bangla started airing from 13 April 2024. The season curated is by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob.
