Lalon is a Bengali folk, rock and fusion music band origin from Khulna, Bangladesh. [2] The band was formed in Khulna in 2001 and mostly influenced by Fakir Lalon Shah. [3]

Nigar Sultana Sumi established the band on 2001 in greater Khulna. [4] [5] [6] She is the founder and main vocalist of the band. The band first Album Biprotip was released in 2007. After two years later their second album Khepa was released.

Regarded as an icon of Bengali culture, he inspired and influenced many philosophers, poets and social thinkers including Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Allen Ginsberg. Lalon's philosophy of humanity rejects all distinctions of caste, class, and creed and takes stand against theological conflicts and racism. It denies all worldly affairs in search of the soul and embodied the socially transformative role of sub-continental Bhakti and Sufism.

Prithibi is a Bengali rock band officially formed in Kolkata, India in the year 2005. But its original formation goes back to 2001 at Ashutosh College. Presently the band consists of Kaushik, Deep, Arunangshu (guitar) and Aniruddha, Deepayan, Debangshu (guitar). Feedback is a Bangladeshi rock band, formed in 4 October 1976 in Dhaka by keyboardist Foad Nasser Babu. Multiple lineup changes have taken place since 1976. They have released seven studio albums and have also appeared in some compilations.

Sharmin Sultana Sumi is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, composer, playback singer. She is a lead vocalist and founding member of the band Chirkutt. She started the band in 2002. Sumi becomes first-ever Bangladeshi to participate in Womex 21. She is the only Bangladeshi singer on the summit's list and will also be the first-ever Bangladeshi to represent the country at the world's largest music summit.

Mukhosh is a 1990s blues band based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The band was formed by Khalid Hossain Raju (vocals) and S M Khosrose Mohit (drummer) in 1997. They released their first self-titled album Mukhosh from the banner of recording company Soundtek in 2000. After 2000, the band was inactive for 17 years and reappeared with their second album Digital Bhalobasha in December 2017.

Obscure is a Bengali pop and rock music band from Khulna, Bangladesh. The band was formed in greater Khulna on 15 March 1985, by Sayed Hasan Tipu.
