Coon Rapids High School (CRHS) is a public high school in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, United States. It is part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 and participates in the University of Minnesota's College in the Schools program. [4]
The Coon Rapids Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering program is a specialty program within the school. The program was launched in 2013 and consists of hands-on math, science, medical, and engineering courses using Project Lead the Way curriculum. [5] [6]
Students can enroll in college-level courses through Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO). This program allows high school students to experience college coursework without paying college tuition fees. General education coursework is available to grades 11 and 12, and technical education coursework is available to grades 10, 11, and 12. [7]

Founded in 1965, the college annually serves more than 12,500 students as they pursue associate degrees that transfer as the first two years of a bachelor's degree, as well as certificate programs. Anoka-Ramsey Community College is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. The college also focuses on providing professional development and continuing education programs for working adults. Over 5,570 registrants enroll in these courses each year.

Lakeville South High School (LSHS) is a high school located Lakeville, Minnesota, United States. To meet the needs of a growing population, in the early 2000s the district began construction of LSHS. LSHS enrolled students for the first time in fall 2005. Unlike LNHS, whose student come from a predominantly urban/suburban catchment area, LSHS pulls from the suburban/rural areas of Lakeville. This socioeconomic divide has contributed to the ferocity of the rivalry between LNHS and LSHS athletics. In addition, the close proximity and closeness of the community in the City of Lakeville also plays a large role in the strong community competition between the two high schools.
The Youth in Music Band Championships is an annual high school marching band competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is one of the largest marching band events in the Upper Midwest, attracting two dozen competitors and thousands of spectators every year. Gerald F. "Jerry" Newton is an American politician and decorated non-commissioned officer who has served in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2023. He previously served in the House from 2009 to 2017 and in the Minnesota Senate from 2017 to 2023. Fridley High School is one of the high schools in Fridley, Minnesota. The high school itself is part of Minnesota School District 14, though much of Fridley falls into other districts. The high school shares a street corner with Fridley Middle School. Both facilities operate together and provide mixed curriculum. For instance, the middle school houses the pool and provides "field experience" for seniors thinking about going into education. The high school houses the auditorium which is used by Substance Church and the Fridley Community Theatre as well as the school district.
