The 2009 United States Olympic Curling Team Trials were held from February 21 to 28, 2009 at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Trials have been held ever since curling returned to the Olympics as a demonstration sport in 1988. The trials also constituted the 2009 United States National Curling Championships.
The 1995 Scott Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from February 18 to 26, 1995 at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, Alberta. The total attendance for the week was 52,202. It was the first time the Page playoff system would be used at the Tournament of Hearts.
The 2010 World Junior Curling Championships were held from March 5 to 14 at the Waldhaus Arena in Flims, Switzerland.
The 2005 World Junior Curling Championships were held from March 3 to 13 at the Pinerolo Palaghiaccio in Pinerolo, Italy.
The 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 26 at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer, Alberta. This Tournament of Hearts marked the second time that Red Deer has hosted the Scotties; the first time that the Scotties was hosted in Red Deer was in 2004.
The 2012 Canadian Masters Curling Championships were held from March 26 to April 1 at the Club de curling Boucherville and the Club de curling Saint-Lambert in Boucherville and Saint-Lambert, Quebec.
The 2011 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships were held from November 19 to 26 at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center in Nanjing, China. The Pacific Championships acted as the Pacific Zone qualifiers for the 2012 World Curling Championships. The top two women's berths qualified for the 2012 Ford World Women's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta, while the top two men's berths qualified for the 2012 Capital One World Men's Curling Championship in Basel, Switzerland.
Curling at the 2015 Canada Winter Games took place at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club in Prince George, British Columbia. The men's event ran from Saturday, February 14, 2015 to Friday, February 20, 2015. The women's event ran from Sunday, February 22, 2015 to Saturday, February 28, 2015.
The 2017 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, was held from March 4–12, 2017 at the Mile One Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The men's tournament of the 2016 European Curling Championships was held from November 18 to 26 in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The winners of the Group C tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia will move on to the Group B tournament. The top eight men's teams at the 2016 European Curling Championships will represent their respective nations at the 2017 Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The 2017 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials were held from December 2 to 10 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, Ottawa, Ontario. The winners of the men's and women's events would represent Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The 2017 World Junior Curling Championships was held from February 16 to 26 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea.
The 2018 World Women's Curling Championship was held from March 17–25 at the North Bay Memorial Gardens in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The format of the tournament was changed this year, with 13 teams qualifying for the tournament, and the top 6 teams from round-robin play will qualify for the playoffs. The playoff system were single-knockout, where the top two teams received a bye while the remaining four played the first round.
The 2019 World Men's Curling Championship was held from March 30 to April 7 at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
The 2019 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held in Stavanger, Norway from April 20 to 27, 2019. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 World Senior Curling Championships. A record forty-eight nations competed in the event, including Kosovo, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine competing in their first World Curling Federation events.
The 2021 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 18 to 25 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The winning pair of Kerri Einarson and Brad Gushue represented Canada at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland
The 2021 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held from November 7 to 14 at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club in Canmore, Alberta.
The 2022 World Senior Curling Championships was held from April 23 to 30 at the Curling Club Trois-Chêne in the Geneva Sous-Moulin Sports Center in Thônex, a suburb of Geneva, Switzerland. The event was held alongside the 2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.
The 2022 Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships were held from November 21 to 26 at the Ice Palace at the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta. The event is the Canadian championship for "club-level" curling, that is for curlers who are not currently playing at the high performance level.
Curling at the 2023 Canada Winter Games took place at The Silver Fox Entertainment Complex and the Montague Curling Club in Summerside and Montague, Prince Edward Island. The women's event ran from Sunday, February 19, 2023, to Friday, February 24, 2023. The men's and mixed doubles events ran from Tuesday, February 28, 2023, to Sunday, March 5, 2023.
