Immanuel Vasanth Dinakaran also mononymously known as D. Imman , made his music debut in 2002, with the Tamil film Thamizhan. During the course of his two decade long career, he has composed and produced original scores and songs for more than 80 films predominantly in Tamil films.

Thamizhan is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language courtroom drama film directed by debutant Majith and produced by G. Venkateswaran. The film stars Vijay and debutant Priyanka Chopra. This is Chopra's debut, first and only Tamil film up to date. Revathi, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vivek also play pivotal roles in the film, while the film's score and soundtrack were composed by D. Imman. The story involves solving several corruption cases by a lawyer named Surya in the process fighting against a criminal boss and finally making Indian law basics available as a free book to common people.

Manayangath Subramanian Viswanathan, also known as M.S.V., was an Indian music director, singer and actor who predominantly worked in Tamil film industry. Popularly known by the sobriquet "Mellisai Mannar", he composed songs for more than 800 Indian films and various albums across languages primarily in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. He has also acted and sung in a few Tamil films. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa conferred the "Thirai Isai Chakravarthy" title on him in August 2012 and presented him with 60 gold coins and a new car.

He has also won the Filmfare Awards South and he has received 4 Filmfare Awards South nominations. He has also won 1 Tamil Nadu State Film Award, 2 Vijay Awards, 1 Edison Award, 1 Ananda Vikadan Cinema Award and 1 Zee Tamil Award. D. Imman is appointed as the Ambassador for Tamil Chair in University Of Toronto, Canada (2019).

Viswasam is the soundtrack album composed by D. Imman for the Indian Tamil-language action drama film of the same name directed by Siva, starring Ajith Kumar and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. The film was initially announced with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer, who left the project citing schedule conflicts and several other composers were rumoured to score music before the team approached Imman as the music director. This film marked Imman's first collaboration with Ajith Kumar and Siva.

Rajinimurugan is the soundtrack album composed by D. Imman for the 2015 Tamil film of the same name directed by Ponram, starring Sivakarthikeyan. The film marked Imman's third collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan and second collaboration with Ponram. The album featured ten tracks in entirety, including a remix and karaoke versions of the songs, with lyrics written by Yugabharathi. The song "Yennamma Ippadi Panreengalema" was released as a single on 25 May 2015, and the album in its entirety was released on 10 June 2015 by Sony Music India. The album received positive response and topped the charts.

Mukesh Mohamed is an Indian playback singer. As a singer, he sings melody, folk and gana songs. He has sung more than 500 film songs in various Indian languages. He has also recorded a number of devotional albums. He has performed in numerous live concerts across the world, and has regular appearance in Ilaiyaraaja’s musical orchestras. Mukesh Mohamed has sung some songs including "Vaa Saamy" in Annatthe.

<i>Kumki</i> (soundtrack) 2012 soundtrack album by D. Imman

Kumki is the soundtrack to the 2012 film of the same name directed by Prabhu Solomon, starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon. The ten-song soundtrack consisted of seven musical numbers composed by D. Imman and written by Yugabharathi, and karaoke versions of three songs. Kumki is Imman's second collaboration with Solomon after Lee (2007) and Mynaa (2010).
