Daghdaghan (Persian : دغدغان‎, also Romanized as Daghdaghān; also known as Tokhtugan, Tūkhī Tūqān, and Tykhtugan)^[1] is a village in Mavazekhan-e Shomali Rural District, Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 162, in 43 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mavazekhan-e Shomali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,918, in 1,297 families. The rural district has 28 villages.

Khajeh District is a district (bakhsh) in Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,151, in 7,001 families. The District has one city: Khajeh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Bedevostan-e Gharbi Rural District, Mavazekhan-e Sharqi Rural District, and Mavazekhan-e Shomali Rural District.
