Pakchin (Persian : پاكچين‎, also Romanized as Pākchīn and Pākachīn; also known as Chavarchin, Pāg Chīn, Pākchīn-e ‘Olyā, Pakehchīn, and Pakeh Ḩoseyn)^[1] is a village in Mavazekhan-e Sharqi Rural District, Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 265, in 57 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mavazekhan-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,274, in 994 families. The rural district has 15 villages.

Khajeh District is a district (bakhsh) in Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,151, in 7,001 families. The District has one city: Khajeh.
