Shahsavari (Persian : شهسواري‎, also Romanized as Shahsavārī; also known as Shahsavār, Shāhsuvār, and Shakhsuvar)^[1] is a village in Bedevostan-e Gharbi Rural District, Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 467, in 106 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Bedevostan-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Khvajeh District, Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,259, in 3,729 families. The rural district has 25 villages.

Khajeh District is a district (bakhsh) in Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,151, in 7,001 families. The District has one city: Khajeh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Bedevostan-e Gharbi Rural District, Mavazekhan-e Sharqi Rural District, and Mavazekhan-e Shomali Rural District.
