Dan Romer is an American film composer, music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. [1]
As a film composer, Romer's scores include four-time Oscar-nominated Beasts of the Southern Wild , Beasts of No Nation , Chasing Coral , Gleason , The Good Doctor and the Emmy-winning Jim: The James Foley Story . [2] His score for the HBO miniseries Station Eleven was also nominated for an Emmy in 2022. [3] Romer scored the Ubisoft video game Far Cry 5 released on March 27, 2018.
He has produced music for numerous artists including A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera, whose single "Say Something", topped charts around the world, hit 6× Platinum, sold over seven million copies, and won a 2015 Grammy. Dan co-produced "Treat You Better" by Shawn Mendes which reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart and No. 3 on the US Top 40 pop radio charts in September 2016. [2] Romer composed the score to the Pixar animated feature film, Luca , [4] which was the most-watched streaming film of 2021, with over 10.6 billion minutes watched. Stephen Chbosky is an American film director, screenwriter, and author. He is best-known for writing the bestselling coming-of-age novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower (1999), as well as for writing and directing the 2012 film adaptation of the book. Most recently, he directed the 2017 drama Wonder and the 2021 film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen. His first psychological horror novel, Imaginary Friend, was published in October 2019.
Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known together as Pasek and Paul, are an American songwriting duo and composing team for musical theater, films and television. Their works include A Christmas Story, Dogfight, Edges, Dear Evan Hansen, and James and the Giant Peach. Their original songs have been featured on NBC's Smash and in the films La La Land, for which they won both the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Song for the song "City of Stars", and The Greatest Showman. Their work on the original musical Dear Evan Hansen has received widespread critical acclaim and earned them the 2017 Tony Award for Best Original Score. In 2022, they won the Tony Award for Best Musical for serving as producers for the Broadway production of Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Strange Loop.

Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever is an American actress, musician, singer, and songwriter. Benjamin Schiff Platt is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Platt, the son of film and theater producer Marc Platt, began his acting career in musical theater as a child and appeared in productions of The Sound of Music (2006) and The Book of Mormon (2012–2015), rising to prominence for originating the title role in Broadway coming-of-age musical Dear Evan Hansen (2015–2017).
