The ninth edition of Dancing Stars will be broadcast from March 7, 2014 on ORF1 and will be presented by Mirjam Weichselbraun and Klaus Eberhartinger.

Dancing Stars is the Austrian version of Dancing with the Stars and is shown on ORF eins in Austria.

Mirjam Weichselbraun Austrian television presenter

Mirjam Weichselbraun is an Austrian television host and actress, best known in Austria for presenting Dancing Stars, Life Ball and the Vienna Opera Ball. She is best known outside Austria for presenting the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.

Klaus Eberhartinger Austrian musician

Klaus Eberhartinger is an Austrian singer and presenter.

Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition television series that premiered on June 1, 2005, on ABC. It is the US version of the UK series Strictly Come Dancing. The show is hosted by Tom Bergeron, alongside Erin Andrews, who became co-host in season eighteen. Peta Jane Murgatroyd is a New Zealand-born Australian professional Latin dancer. She performed in the international tour of the dance production Burn the Floor, including its Broadway run. Season seventeen of Dancing with the Stars premiered on September 16, 2013 and ended on November 26, 2013. Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet returned as hosts and Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli returned as judges. The Harold Wheeler orchestra and singers also returned to provide the music throughout the season. This was also Brooke Burke-Charvet's last season as co-host. Witney Carson American actress and dancer

Witney Capri Carson McAllister is an American professional Latin ballroom dancer and choreographer. She first gained attention in 2012, when the 18-year-old finished ladies' second runner-up in season nine of So You Think You Can Dance. Carson continued her professional dancing career in early 2013 as a troupe dancer in seasons 16 and 17 of Dancing with the Stars. She was promoted to professional partner in season 18. In season 19, she and her partner Alfonso Ribeiro were announced the winners on November 25, 2014, making her one of six professional dancers to win the mirror ball trophy within their first two seasons. Season twenty-six of Dancing with the Stars, titled Dancing with the Stars: Athletes, premiered on April 30, 2018, on the ABC network. The four-week season, the shortest ever, features a cast of current and former athletes. This is the first season where more than one couple is eliminated each week.

Dancing with the Stars: Juniors is an American children's dance competition television series that premiered on October 7, 2018 on ABC. It is a spin-off of the Dancing with the Stars series. The format of the show features celebrity children paired with professional junior ballroom dancers and mentored by an adult professional dancer. The couples compete against each other by performing choreographed dance routines in front of a panel of judges.

The sixteenth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 18 February 2019. Due to Network 10 obtaining the rights for the series, an overhaul to the cast and crew occurred, with Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller taking the role of host and co-host, respectively, and Strictly Come Dancing's judge Craig Revel Horwood and professional dancers Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus making up the judging panel.
