Daniel J. "Dan" Rafael [1] (born November 16, 1961, in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian male curler and curling coach. He worked as national curling coach (head coach of national curling federation) and national curling teams coach of France, China, [2] [3] Italy, [4] Czech Republic, Turkey, [5] Russia, Poland.

He grew up and started playing curling in Schefferville, Quebec, where he played his entire junior curling career.

Lin Dan is a Chinese former professional badminton player. He is a two-time Olympic champion, five-time World champion, as well as a six-time All England champion. Widely regarded as the greatest badminton player of all time, by the age of 28 Lin had completed the "Super Grand Slam", having won what some consider to be the nine major titles in the badminton world: Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, Thomas Cup, Sudirman Cup, Super Series Masters Finals, All England Open, Asian Games, and Asian Championships, becoming the first and only player to achieve this feat. Jennifer Judith Jones OM is a Canadian curler. She was the Olympic champion in curling as skip of the Canadian team at the 2014 Sochi Games. Jones is the first female skip to go through the Games undefeated. The only male skip to achieve this was fellow Canadian Kevin Martin in 2010. Jones and her squad were the first Manitoba based curling team to win an Olympic gold medal. They won the 2008 World Women's Curling Championship and were the last Canadian women's team to do so until Rachel Homan in 2017. She won a second world championship in 2018. Jones represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Shi Yuqi is a Chinese badminton player. Shi won his first Superseries title in the 2016 French Open. At the 2017 All England Open, he defeated 6-time champion Lin Dan to reach the final, and repeated the same feat again at the 2018 All England Open, where he outclassed Lin Dan in the tournament final. He also won a silver medal at the 2018 World Championships.

Stefania Constantini is an Italian curler from Cortina d'Ampezzo. She currently skips the Italian National Women's Curling Team. She has played in five World Championships, and six European Championships. She won a silver medal at the 2023 European Curling Championships, a bronze medal at the 2017 European Curling Championships and a gold medal in mixed doubles at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
