David Snow is a former American college baseball coach. He served as head coach of the Loyola Marymount Lions baseball team, leading them to the 1986 College World Series and later as the head coach of the Long Beach State 49ers baseball team, whom he led to the College World Series in 1989, 1991, 1993, and 1998. He retired from coaching in 2001 after a 29 year career that also included a head coaching job at Los Angeles Valley College and time as an assistant to Cal State Fullerton coach Augie Garrido. Snow played third base at Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California. He was drafted in the 17th round of the 1968 Major League Baseball Draft by the Houston Astros. [3] Snow decided not to sign with Houston, and attended Cerritos College. Snow was the third baseman for the Falcons for the 1969 and 1970 seasons. [4] He would go on to play two seasons at Cal Poly under Augie Garrido. He led the Mustangs in doubles (8) and RBIs (31) in 1971.
Snow followed Garrido to Cal State Fullerton, where he became an assistant. [5] In 1978, he left to become the head coach at Los Angeles Valley College. He went 156–41 at Los Angeles Valley, winning four consecutive conference championships. [6] He returned to assisting at Cal State Fullerton in 1983 and 1984, before leaving to become the head coach of the Loyola Marymount Lions baseball team in 1985.

Phillip Joseph Nevin is an American professional baseball player, coach, and manager. He was the manager for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played in MLB for 12 seasons, appearing in 1,217 games played between 1995 and 2006 for the Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, Anaheim Angels, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins. He has previously served as a coach in MLB for the San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees.

The Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball team is the college baseball program that represents California State University, Long Beach. Although all Long Beach State sports teams are officially known as the Beach, the baseball team is typically referred to as the "Dirtbags". Their colors are black and gold.

Richard Dean Vanderhook is an American former baseball coach and infielder. He played college baseball at Cerritos College for head coach George Horton from 1982 to 1983 prior to transferring to Cal State Fullerton where he played for head coach Augie Garrido from 1983 to 1984. Vanderhook helped Cal State Fullerton's 1984 national championship team.

Thomas Darwin Eshelman is an American former professional baseball pitcher and current pitching coach in the San Diego Padres organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Baltimore Orioles in 2019. He played college baseball for the Titans of California State University, Fullerton. The Houston Astros selected Eshelman in the 2015 MLB draft, and traded him to the Philadelphia Phillies after the 2015 season. He was traded to the Baltimore Orioles during the 2019 season.
Christopher Michael Devenski, also known as "Devo", is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Angels, and Tampa Bay Rays. Prior to playing professionally, Devenski played college baseball for Golden West College and California State University, Fullerton. The Chicago White Sox selected Devenski in the 25th round, with the 771st overall selection, of the 2011 MLB draft. He was named an MLB All-Star in 2017.
Jason Gill is an American baseball coach and former shortstop and third baseman. He played college baseball for Cuesta College, Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State Fullerton from 1991 to 1994. He then served as the head coach of the Loyola Marymount Lions (2009–2019) the USC Trojans (2019–2022).
