American singer David Cook has released four albums, 3 EPs, and 17 singles. Before appearing on American Idol , Cook self-released an album Analog Heart in 2006. During his run on the show, it was removed from sale. As of 2009, the album has sold fewer than 5,000 units in the United States.

He released his first single "The Time of My Life" after his win, followed by the lead single "Light On" from his first major-label album, the eponymous David Cook . Both "The Time of My Life" and "Light On" have each sold over a million copies, while his second single from the album "Come Back to Me" sold over 500,000. [1] His self-titled album was released on November 18, 2008, via RCA Records. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on January 22, 2009. [2] The album was also certified Gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association.

Cook's second major label album This Loud Morning was released on June 28, 2011, and debuted at number seven in the Billboard 200. The lead single from the album was "The Last Goodbye". His fourth studio album Digital Vein was released on September 18, 2015. [3]

Digital Vein is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter David Cook. It was released on September 18, 2015, through Cook's Analog Heart Music. The album features tracks co-written by Cook along with well-known songwriters such as Blair Daly, Zac Maloy, Kevin Griffin, Chad Carlson and David Hodges. Digital Vein is Cook's first studio album since he parted ways with RCA Records in 2012. The album was distributed through a deal with INgrooves Music Group.

American singer and songwriter Lauren Alaina has released three studio albums, three extended plays, ten singles plus three as a featured artist, and eight music videos. Alaina rose to prominence in 2011 as the runner-up on the tenth season of American Idol. Her debut studio album, Wildflower, released in the fall of 2011, debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200. "Idol" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band BTS. It was released on August 24, 2018, by Big Hit Entertainment as the lead single from the band's third compilation album Love Yourself: Answer (2018). An alternative version of the song featuring Nicki Minaj was included as a bonus track on the digital version of the album. The single debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the two versions combined sold 43,000 downloads in their first week of sale in the US. It is certified platinum by the RIAA.
