Delfina Pignatiello (born 19 April 2000) is an Argentine former swimmer. She participated in the 2017 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships, [1] [2] and represented Argentina at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [3] [4]
She began swimming as a baby, taught by her mother, a swimming coach. She started competing at the age of 12. [5]
Delfina participated in two junior World Championships (2015, 2017) and also in a senior short course World Championship (2016). [6] She made an Argentine record in 800 metres at the 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), where she came in 6th place. [7]
She participated in the 2017 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships held in Indianapolis, USA, where she won two events: the 800 and 1500 metres freestyle. She also won the silver medal in the same competition in the 400 metres. [8]
Delfina won two silver medals at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in the 400 and 800 metres freestyle.
In 2019, she won three gold medals at the Pan American Games in the 400, 800, and 1500 metres freestyle.
The Olimpia Awards are Argentine sports awards given annually by the Círculo de Periodistas Deportivos since 1954. An Olimpia de Plata is awarded to the outstanding performer in 41 sports.

Nicholas Andrew Schwab Alfaro is a Dominican Republic swimmer. He competed at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai in the Men's 200 and 400 metre freestyle, won three medals, breaking the meet record in the 200 metre individual medley with a time of 2:08.90, at the 2011 CCCAN in Puerto Rico, and qualifying for the Guadalajara Pan-American Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the Men's 200 metre freestyle, winning his heat with a time of 1:53.41 and finishing in 37th place overall. Nicholas won four gold medals and one silver medal at the 2013 CCCAN in Costa Rica. He competed in the 2013 World Aquatic Championships in Barcelona in the Men's 200 and 400 metre freestyle. From 2010 to 2013, Nicholas attended Indiana University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, and competed in swimming at the 2012 and 2013 Big Ten Swimming Championships and the 2013 NCAA Division I Championships in the 500 freestyle, qualifying with a time of 4:18.70. Nicholas currently holds the 200 and 400 metre freestyle national records in the Dominican Republic, with a time of 1:53.07 and 3:59.29.
Mackenzie James Horton is an Australian retired freestyle swimmer. He is an Olympic gold medallist, World Championships gold medallist, and 4-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he took the gold in the 400m freestyle, and became the first male swimmer from the state of Victoria to win an Olympic swimming gold in the Games' history.

Siobhán Bernadette Haughey is a Hong Kong competitive swimmer. She became the first Hong Kong swimmer to win an Olympic medal and the first Hong Kong athlete to win two Olympic medals in any sport, after winning silver in the women's 200-metre freestyle and women's 100-metre freestyle during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. She later became the only Hong Kong athlete to win four Olympic medals after winning bronze in the women's 200-metre freestyle and the women's 100-metre freestyle at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a bronze medal in Women's 800 metre freestyle, and at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, won the gold medal in the 1500 m freestyle, and the silver medal in the 800 m freestyle.
Kristóf Milák is a Hungarian swimmer. He is the current holder of the world record in the long course 200 metre butterfly and the European record in the long course 100 metre butterfly. At his first Olympic Games, the 2020 Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the 200 metre butterfly and a silver medal in the 100 metre butterfly. Noted for her strength in medley and butterfly events, she is the world record holder in the 400 metre individual medley, and also holds the Olympic and textile records in the 200 metre butterfly event, and the Olympic record in the 200 metre individual medley.
Ahmed Ayoub Hafnaoui is a Tunisian swimmer. He is the African record holder in the long course 400-metre and 1500-metre freestyle, and the short course 800-metre and 1500-metre freestyle events. He competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics, where he won a gold medal in the men's 400-metre freestyle. He ranked No. 16 in the world and was the slowest qualifier for the final race but won Olympic gold with a time of 3:43.36. Hafnaoui was the only Tunisian to win Olympic gold at Tokyo 2020.

The 16th FINA World Swimming Championships took place from 13 to 18 December 2022 in Melbourne, Australia at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Swimming events in the championships were conducted in a 25-metre outdoor pool.

At the 2019 European Junior Championships she won a gold medal in the 400 metre individual medley. She won the gold medal in the 400 metre individual medley and the silver medal in the 200 metre individual medley at the 2019 World Junior Championships. Jimena Leguizamón Leal is a Colombian competitive swimmer. At the 2022 Bolivarian Games, she won gold medals in the 200 metre backstroke and 4×100 metre medley relay and bronze medals in the 200 metre individual medley and 100 metre backstroke. At the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, she placed sixteenth in the 200 metre backstroke and became the first female Colombian swimmer to reach the semifinals stage of competition in the event at a World Aquatics Championships. She won the silver medal in the 200 metre backstroke at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games and two gold medals and two silver medals in individual events at the 2022 South American Youth Games.
