[6] Conversely, IGN enjoyed the puzzles but disliked the platforming, which they called "a chore". They praised the voice acting and story but said they could not save Deliver Us Mars from performance issues and poor graphics. [7] Game Informer wrote, "A gripping narrative fuels gameplay that otherwise feels functional but underbaked", comparing it to Macbeth performed by poorly-made animatronics. [8] Push Square said it has "an entrancing sci-fi story" with great voice acting, but they criticized the terrain pop-in, poor performance, software bugs, and platforming, which they found tedious.
