Delta Force is a series of first-person shooter video games by NovaLogic created in 1998. They are often included in the sub-genre labeled "tactical shooters". NovaLogic was the primary developer and license holder of the franchise until the acquisition of its assets by THQ Nordic on October 31, 2016. [1]

The company was known for their Voxel Space engine, which was utilized in franchises such as the Comanche and Delta Force series. In October 2016, NovaLogic's assets were bought out by THQ Nordic who are not currently using the label.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is a first-person shooter video game developed by NovaLogic. It was released for Microsoft Windows on March 25, 2003; for Mac OS X in July 2004; and for PlayStation 2 and Xbox on July 26, 2005. It is the 6th game of the Delta Force series. It is set in the early 1990s, during the Unified Task Force peacekeeping operation in Somalia. The missions take place primarily in the southern Jubba Valley and the capital Mogadishu. The game also features a mission editor with which players can make custom missions. The game is based on the book of the same name, not the Sony film.

<i>Delta Force: Black Hawk Down – Team Sabre</i> 2004 video game

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down – Team Sabre is the expansion pack to Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Team Sabre adds more weapons, that can be used in servers that only have Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. The Team Sabre expansion gives the player a new character to choose, the British elite commando unit SAS. Team Sabre adds a few more terrains which are mostly jungle and desert terrains. The expansion pack also gives the player two more campaigns which are in fictional based areas, fighting the renegade general Haatim Jaareah Kalb in the deserts of Iran and the elusive drug lord Antonio Paulo in the jungles of Colombia. The main difference from the original is the difficulty, with fewer saves and longer levels.

Delta Force: Task Force Dagger is a first-person shooter video game developed by Zombie Studios and published by NovaLogic. It's a stand-alone expansion pack to Delta Force: Land Warrior. It is set in Afghanistan in 2002 after United States invasion of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in 2001.

THQ Nordic GmbH is an Austrian video game publisher based in Vienna. Formed in 2011, it is a publishing subsidiary of Embracer Group. Originally named Nordic Games, as was the parent company, both companies were renamed THQ Nordic in August 2016 after the parent company had acquired the "THQ" trademark in 2014.

Delta Force is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter for PC, consoles, and mobile. It is part of the Delta Force series, previously developed and published by NovaLogic. The rights were acquired by Chinese company Tencent, and the game now utilizes Tencent's Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) kernel-level anti-cheat. The game is developed by TiMi Studios, known for developing Call of Duty: Mobile.
