Denbigh railway station served the town of Denbigh in Wales. It closed in 1962. The only remains of the station are sections of platform edge. [2]
The Vale of Clwyd Railway had used a temporary stop at Denbigh from 1858 until their station buildings, which also housed their headquarters, were constructed. The station was designed, along with several other stations on the line, by the local firm of Lloyd Williams and Underwood. It opened in December 1860 and was for some time the terminus of the railway, until the line extension to Ruthin opened in 1862. [3]
The Tudor Gothic-style station building, which incorporated accommodation on the first-floor for the station master, primarily used limestone, with detailing such as around the doors, windows and chimneys being of freestone. The booking and left luggage offices were placed centrally, and there were three waiting rooms - a general room, one for ladies travelling first-class and another for those ladies travelling second-class. There was an initially single platform, partly sheltered by a roof supported by cast iron columns. That platform was extended in 1885 and altered also to allow trains to stop regardless of their direction of travel. [3] [2]
Bangor railway station serves the city of Bangor, Gwynedd; it is operated by Transport for Wales. The station, which is 24+3⁄4 miles (40 km) east of Holyhead, is the last mainland station on the North Wales Coast line between Crewe and Holyhead. It is the busiest in terms of passenger numbers in North Wales, as it serves the community around Caernarfon and further west. It is close to the Snowdonia National Park and Bangor University, and has an interchange with bus services to the various towns and villages of north-west Gwynedd and Anglesey.
Barry railway station is one of three stations serving the town of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. This one, Barry Town, is preceded by Barry Docks and Cadoxton stations on the Barry Branch which runs from Cardiff Central to a fourth station at Barry Island, the terminus. Barry is also the junction at the start of the Vale of Glamorgan Line which serves Rhoose and Llantwit Major and terminates at Bridgend.

Warrington Bank Quay is one of three railway stations serving the town centre of Warrington in Cheshire, England. It is a principal stop on the West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Glasgow Central. The station is a north–south oriented main-line station on one side of the main shopping area, with the west–east oriented Warrington West and Warrington Central operating a more frequent service to the neighbouring cities of Liverpool and Manchester.
Askam is a railway station on the Cumbrian Coast Line, which runs between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness. The station, situated 6 miles (10 km) north of Barrow-in-Furness, serves the villages of Askam-in-Furness and Ireleth in Cumbria. It is owned by Network Rail and managed by Northern Trains.

Marple railway station serves the town of Marple, in Greater Manchester, England. It is a stop on the Hope Valley Line, sited 8.9 miles (14.3 km) south-east of Manchester Piccadilly. The station opened in 1865 by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway; it was demolished and rebuilt in 1970. It is managed and served by Northern Trains, who generally provide two trains per hour in each direction. Rose Hill Marple station also serves the town on a spur of the Hope Valley Line which, until 1970, continued towards Macclesfield.
Rhyl railway station is on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line and serves the holiday resort of Rhyl, Wales.
East Didsbury is a suburban railway station in south Manchester, England. It is sited on the Styal Line between Longsight and Wilmslow, providing direct access between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport. East Didsbury tram stop, on the Manchester Metrolink system, is located close by.
Frodsham railway station serves the town of Frodsham, Cheshire, England. The station is managed by Transport for Wales. It was opened along with the line in 1850 and the station building is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. This was restored in 2012 and is in private ownership.
The Mold and Denbigh Junction Railway was a railway company that built a 16-mile (26 km) railway line in North Wales. It formed a link between the Mold Railway and the Vale of Clwyd Railway towards Rhyl.
Huyton railway station serves Huyton in Merseyside, England. The station is an interchange between the Liverpool-Wigan Line and the northern route of the Liverpool-Manchester Line which diverge soon after the station. It is one of the busier stations on the lines and close to the shopping centre and bus station.

It was also known as Mansfield Town, to distinguish itself from the GCR's former Mansfield Central and Mansfield Woodhouse stations. It is a stop on the Robin Hood Line, located 17 miles (27 km) north of Nottingham; it is managed by East Midlands Railway. The station building is Grade II listed.
Nantwich railway station serves the town of Nantwich, Cheshire, England. It is on the Crewe to Shrewsbury line 4+1⁄2 miles (7.2 km) south west of Crewe. Opened in 1858, it was the junction for the Great Western Railway route to Wellington via Market Drayton until 1963.
Corwen railway station refers to two stations, on different sites, which have existed in the town of Corwen in Denbighshire, Wales.
Rhuddlan was a railway station located in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire. It first opened in 1858 as part of the Vale of Clwyd Railway, and afterwards under the auspices of several different companies. The station closed to passengers on 19 September 1955, some seven years after nationalisation.
Bodfari railway station was opened on 6 September 1869 by the Mold and Denbigh Junction Railway. Following the Railways Act 1921 the line became part of the LMS. The station was located to the west of the road bridge on the A541 close to the village. Station buildings were on the Chester bound platform and there was a shelter on the Denbigh platform. The station closed in April 1962.
