Devin (Persian : دوين‎, also Romanized as Devīn; also known as Deven, Doon, and Dūn)^[1] is a village in Dar Pahn Rural District, Senderk District, Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 357, in 93 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Dar Pahn Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Senderk District of Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,118, in 1,309 families. The rural district has 35 villages.

Senderk District is a district (bakhsh) in Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 19,501, in 4,191 families. The District has one city: Senderk. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Bondar Rural District, Dar Pahn Rural District, and Senderk Rural District.
