Golshavar (Persian : گلشوار‎, also Romanized as Golshavār, Golashvār, and Goleshvār; also known as Gūshvār)^[1] is a village in Howmeh Rural District, in the Central District of Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 458, in 87 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Howmeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,577, in 5,551 families. The rural district has 40 villages.

The Central District of Minab County is a district (bakhsh) in Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 170,419, in 34,176 families. The District has two cities: Minab & Tirur. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Band-e Zarak Rural District, Gurband Rural District, Howmeh Rural District, Karian Rural District, and Tiab Rural District.
