Dhuvaran Thermal Power Station is a decommissioned oil and gas power plant located at Khambhat in Anand district, Gujarat. The power plant was under ownership of state owned Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited. This was the first power plant of Gujarat Electricity Board, the parent company of Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited.
The power plant stands decommissioned since December 2010.

Koradi Thermal Power Station (KTPS) is located at Koradi near Nagpur, Maharashtra. The power plant is one of the four major power plants in Vidarbha – a power surplus region of India. KTPS campus also contains training institute of MahaGenco for middle and senior level engineers, technicians and other staff.

Kadana Dam is an earthen and masonry on the Mahi River in Mahisagar district of Gujarat, India. The dam was constructed between 1979 and 1990. The dams a pumped-storage hydroelectric power-station. The first two generators were commissioned in 1990, the second two in 1998. The first two generators commissioned, Stage I, are reversible kaplan turbines that allow the power station to generate during peak hours then pump back into the reservoir during low hours such as night.

GIPCL Vadodara Gas based Power Station is Gas turbine based combined cycle power plant. It is located at Dhanora village in Vadodara, Gujarat. The power plant is run by state-owned Gujarat Industrial Power Corporation Limited (GIPCL). The primary electricity generation is through the Gas turbines. Waste heat from the gas turbine is recovered by a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to power a conventional steam turbine. The HRSG recovers heat from a hot gas stream and produces steam, the steam utilized to power the steam turbines.
