GSEG Combined Cycle Power plant, Hazira is a gas based combined cycle power plant located at Hazira, Gujarat, in India. [2] The project is a joint venture between Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) Ltd., GAIL, Krishak Bharati Cooperative (KRIBHCO) and other Government of Gujarat Companies. [3] Gujarat State Energy Generation Ltd. GSEG is a power company in Gujarat. It is a subsidiary of GSPC. [4] The company is engaged in gas based generation of electricity.

The average natural gas requirement for the project is 0.78 Million cubic metres (MCM)/day which is sourced from gas exploration company GSPC and is transported by gas transportation company Gujarat State Petronet Limited. [1]

NTPC Kawas is located at Aditya Nagar, Hazira in Surat district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The power plant is the gas-based combined cycle power plants of NTPC. The gas for the power plant is sourced from GAIL HBJ Pipeline – South Basin Gas field. Source of water for the power plant is Hazira Branch Canal Singanpur Weir.

NTPC Jhanor-Gandhar is a gas-based power plant run by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), located at Urja Nagar, in Bharuch district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Gujarat state The power plant its gas from the Gandhar Gas field, and water from the Narmada river. The site is about 18 km north-east of Bharuch City.The plant is a base load, combined cycle power plant. The waste heat from the outlet gases of gas turbine is used to heat water in waste heat recovery boiler (WHRB) of Kawasaki make and subsequently run the steam turbine. The gas turbine capacity is increased to 144.3 MW by injecting de-mineralised water into the combustion chamber. The plant capacity is 657.39 MW (144.3*3+224.49) MW. The plant receives natural gas from Gujarat State Petronet Corporation Ltd (GSPC) and Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL). The power transmission is at 220 kV and 400 kV.

Bhander Power Plant is a natural gas-based thermal power plant located near Hazira in Surat district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The power plant was commissioned in 2006 by EPC Construction India Limited and commenced commercial operations in 2008 by the Essar Energy.

Hazira Manufacturing Division (HMD) is the manufactory of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) located at Hazira, Gujarat, India in Surat. It was commissioned in 1991–92. It is a multi-product, fully integrated complex, manufacturing a wide range of petrochemicals, polymers, polyesters and polyester intermediates. Naphtha is the main raw material of this manufactory, A Naphtha cracker facility crackes the Naphtha and feeds the downstream fiber intermediates, plastics and polyester plants. The manufactory consists integrated utilities system which includes raw water, cooling water, demineralized water, fire water, compressed air, nitrogen, steam/condensate and a Coal based Captive power plant.

Dahej Manufacturing Division (DMD) is the manufactory of Reliance Industries Limited located at Dahej, Gujarat, India near Bharuch. It comprises a Gas cracker which cracks Ethane, Propane and produces Ethylene and Propylene as a product and the same is used as a raw material in downstream plants. The raw material like Propane is either imported or availed from RIL refinery at Jamnagar. The manufactory consists integrated utilities system which includes raw water, cooling water, demineralized water, fire water, compressed air, nitrogen, steam/condensate and a coal based captive co-generation power plant of capacity 270 MW.

GIPCL Vadodara Gas based Power Station is Gas turbine based combined cycle power plant. It is located at Dhanora village in Vadodara, Gujarat. The power plant is run by state-owned Gujarat Industrial Power Corporation Limited (GIPCL). The primary electricity generation is through the Gas turbines. Waste heat from the gas turbine is recovered by a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to power a conventional steam turbine. The HRSG recovers heat from a hot gas stream and produces steam, the steam utilized to power the steam turbines.
