"I Will Survive" is a song first performed by American singer Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978. It was written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris. A top-selling song, it is a popular disco anthem, as well as being certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
"I'm Every Woman" is the debut solo single by American singer Chaka Khan from her debut solo studio album Chaka (1978). It was Khan's first hit outside her recordings with the funk band Rufus. "I'm Every Woman" was produced by Arif Mardin and written by the successful songwriting team Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. The single established Chaka's career outside the group Rufus, whom she would leave after their eighth studio album Masterjam was released in late 1979.
"Silence" is a song by Canadian electronic music group Delerium featuring Canadian singer and co-writer Sarah McLachlan, first released in 1999. Over the years, it has been hailed as one of the greatest trance songs of all time, over a decade after its initial release. The Tiësto remix of the song was voted by Mixmag readers as the 12th greatest dance record of all time.
"I Love Your Smile" is a song by American singer Shanice, released in 1991 as the lead single from her second studio album Inner Child (1991). The song features a saxophone solo by Branford Marsalis as well as laughter from Janet Jackson and René Elizondo Jr. near the end of the song. The track was produced by Louis Biancaniello, with vocals produced by Narada Michael Walden. The radio version of the song removes the rap bridge from the album version.
"Wordy Rappinghood" is a song by American new wave band Tom Tom Club. The song was the lead single from the band's debut studio album, Tom Tom Club. It uses part of a traditional Moroccan children's song and game, "A Ram Sam Sam", made popular by the 1971 Rolf Harris recording. In the United States, the song topped the Billboard Disco Top 80 chart along with "Genius of Love".
Parade of the Athletes is a retrospective mix by Dutch DJ Tiësto of his live set performed during the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece on 13 August 2004. This was the first time that a DJ was asked to perform for a ceremony at the Olympics. Recognizing one of their own, the Dutch team came up to the booth while Tiësto was performing this set. All of the songs on this track are original songs composed by Tiësto except for "Adagio for Strings", which is his own remix of Samuel Barber's piece by the same name, and "Athena", which is also a remix of Adagio in G minor, a piece often attributed to Tomaso Albinoni, but actually composed by Remo Giazotto.
"Show Me Love" is a song by American singer Robin S. It was written by Allen George and Fred McFarlane and originally released in 1990 by Champion Records in the United Kingdom. In 1992, it was remixed by Swedish house music production duo StoneBridge and Nick Nice, New York City's Onionz, and re-released in many European countries as well as United States and Japan. It became one of the most well known house anthems in the United Kingdom, and Robin's biggest hit to date. It helped to make house more mainstream and the song is often confused with her following single "Luv 4 Luv", which is compositionally similar and was released around the same time. Further confusion arose with the 1997 hit "Show Me Love" by Swedish singer Robyn, due to the same song title and a similar artist name.
"The Creeps" is a song written, performed and produced by Camille Jones, released in 2005 and remixed in 2007 by Fedde Le Grand. The song was the first single of Camille's 2004 album Surrender. Dutch DJ-producer Fedde Le Grand signed the song to his own burgeoning Flamingo Recordings imprint and produced a house remix. In early 2007, the remix had been picked up by radio stations in the UK and all over Europe before it was released on Ministry of Sound on 5 March 2007 in the UK and Ireland. The remix became a hit on the charts and the clubs as well. In the UK, "The Creeps" reached #7 on the Singles Chart and #1 on the Dance Chart. On 25 July 2008, "The Creeps" was released as a physical and download single in Germany through Kontor Records Hamburg. The remix from 2007 was remastered slightly, with new instruments on the chorus, which resemble the trumpets on Fedde Le Grand's remix of "Let Me Think About It" by Ida Corr.
"Love Is Gone" is a song by French house DJ David Guetta and American singer Chris Willis. It is the second single from Guetta's third studio album, Pop Life. The single was released in France in June 2007 and in the UK in August 2007. The song reached No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming his second Top 10 hit. The song also received crossover airplay on top 40 radio stations in the United States, leading it to reach No. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The song has been remixed by its co-producers Frédéric Riesterer & Joachim Garraud, Eddie Thoneick, Fuzzy Hair and Amo & Navas. The Fred Rister & Joachim Garraud remix was the first David Guetta production to use a guitar sample which was later used in the songs "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas and "Gettin' Over". The music video of the song features American actress Kelly Thiebaud.
"Traffic" is a track single which appeared in the album Just Be and Parade of the Athletes by Dutch DJ Tiësto. The track contains samples of Sean Deason's track "Psykofuk". When the album Just Be was released, his third single "Love Comes Again" was featured with it, "Traffic" turned into a B-side after having great success in Tiësto's concerts and having a music video made which was released in its original form as well as its radio edit version. It is the first instrumental track to reach the top spot in his homeland of the Netherlands in 23 years. Many DJs did remixes for "Traffic". The track is recorded at 136 BPM.
"Delirious" is a house song performed by French DJ David Guetta and Tara McDonald for Guetta's third studio album, Pop Life. The song was released as the album's fourth single on January 31, 2008. Several remixes of the song, including mixes by Fred Rister, Marc Mysterio, Laidback Luke, and Arno Cost and Norman Doray were released.
"Situation" is a 1982 single by British synth-pop band Yazoo. The song was originally released in the UK as the B-side to Yazoo's debut single, "Only You", which went to number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. Released as a single in North America, the song peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US, and hit the top 40 in Canada, peaking at number 31. In late summer 1982 it became Yazoo's first song to top the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, remaining at number one on this chart for four weeks. It also crossed over to the Black Singles chart, peaking at number 31.
"Alane" is a song recorded by Cameroonian artist Wes. It was released in May 1997 as the debut single from his album, Welenga. It became a hit across Europe, topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. It is sung in the Duala language of Cameroon though the Tony Moran remix includes English lyrics.
"Infinity", also known as "Infinity ", is a song by British acid house musician Guru Josh. It was originally released in December 1989 as the lead single from his debut album of the same name. The song was re-released in 2008 in a remixed version called "Infinity 2008".
"Crying at the Discoteque" is a song performed by Swedish band Alcazar, from their debut studio album Casino (2000). It samples Sheila and B. Devotion's 1979 hit "Spacer". Alexander Bard produced this song and can be heard in the middle of this song. In 2001 the song became Alcazar's first international hit single, reaching number one in Hungary and the top 10 in Flanders, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland. By the end of 2002, "Crying at the Discoteque" had sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide.

"Licence to Kill" is a 1989 song by American singer Gladys Knight, written and recorded for the James Bond film Licence to Kill, also from 1989. It was written by Narada Michael Walden, Jeffrey Cohen and Walter Afanasieff. Released as a single on May 30, 1989, the song became a top-ten hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at number six and becoming Knight's last charting solo single there. The song charted well in Europe, peaking atop the Swedish Singles Chart for eight weeks and reaching the top five in seven other European countries. It also peaked at number 79 on Canada's RPM Top Singles chart but did not appear on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Divine Emotion is the ninth studio album by American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Narada Michael Walden. It was released in 1988. The album includes the single "Divine Emotions", which reached number one on the US Dance Club Songs chart, number 21 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number eight in the UK Singles Chart. Two other singles were released from the album: "Can't Get You Outta My Head" and "Wild Thing".
