Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology and Management Science or (DAMITS) is a business school located in Jagda of city Rourkela. DAMITS [1] [2] [3] was established in the year 2001 under Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Social, Welfare & Educational Trust. The Institute is affiliated to AICTE, Sambalpur University and Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The Institute offers three years regular course on undergraduate degree of BBA and BCA with two years regular course on postgraduate degree of MBA and MCA.

The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) an autonomous institute is located at Sarang of Parjang block in Dhenkanal district in the Indian state of Odisha. The Biju Patnaik University of Technology with its head-quarters in Rourkela, Odisha came into being in November 2002 through an act of the Government of Odisha. The main objective of instituting the University was to ensure a high quality of students coming out of the technical, management and pharmacy colleges through a common curriculum and uniform evaluation.

S.K.D.A.V. Government Polytechnic, Rourkela

S.K.D.A.V. Government Polytechnic is a state government run co-education diploma engineering college located in Basanti Colony of city Rourkela. In the beginning of its inception the Institute was named as S.K.D.A.V Government Polytechnic for Women's which was established in the year 1967 by Mrs. Sushilavati Khosla with the help of D.A.V Trust.

The Academy of Business Administration was established in the year of 1993 by Mr. Sudhasindhu Panda, who is a businessman. The Institution focuses on the education on Business Management. Also it has added the curriculum of IT education. It is affiliated to Fakir Mohan University for its bachelor's degrees & affiliated to Bijupattanaik University of Technology for its Master's degree courses.

The Barrister Ranjit Mohanty Group of Institution (BRM) group of Institution was established in 2000 as BRM trust for providing education in computer science for school students for Government of Odisha. Subsequently it diversified by adding engineering, management and vocational courses to its curriculum. All the courses except diploma engineering courses are affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The diploma engineering courses are affiliated to SCTE & VT of Odisha.
