Eastern Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in East Asia for national teams of the Eastern Asia Zonal Volleyball Association (EAZVA). [1] [2] [3] Tournaments have been awarded every two years since 1998. The current champion is Japan, which won its five title at the 2018 tournament.

Asian Volleyball Confederation

The Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in Asia and Oceania. It has 65 member countries, mostly located in the Asia-Pacific region, but excludes the six transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Turkey and Cyprus, along Israel – which are instead members of CEV.

The 2014–2016 AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Cup were a beach volleyball double-gender event. The winners of the event will qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics

The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship qualification is a series of tournaments to decide teams which will play in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. The 2018 World Championship will feature 24 teams. Two places were allocated to the hosts, Japan and the titleholder, United States. The remaining 22 places will be determined by a qualification process, in which entrants from among the other teams from the five FIVB confederations will compete.

2017 Asian Mens Volleyball Championship

The 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, the biennial international men's volleyball championship of Asia organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). It was held in Gresik, Indonesia from 24 July to 1 August 2017. It was the second time that the Indonesia hosts the tournament after the 2007 Asian Championship. The tournament featured 16 teams to determine the Asian champions in men's volleyball.

The 2019 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the twentieth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Korea Volleyball Association (KVA). The tournament was held in Seoul, South Korea, from 18 to 25 August 2019. South Korea played host to this event for the very first time. The top eight teams of this tournament will be qualified to the 2020 AVC Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualification Tournament.

The Philippine SuperLiga All-Stars is a volleyball selection team composing of players from the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). They have compete as a club team in international club tournaments outside the Philippines such as the AVC Club Volleyball Championship and the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

The Asian section of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship qualification acts as qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, to be held in Japan, for national teams which are members of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). A total of 4+1 slots in the final tournament are available for AVC teams.

East Asian Zonal Volleyball Association

The East Asian Zonal Volleyball Association, is the governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball in East Asia.

The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup was the inaugural edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Kyrgyzstan Volleyball Federation (KVF). The tournament was held in Hong Kong, Hong Kong, from December 3 to 9, 2018.

The 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA). The tournament was held in Riffa, Bahrain from 21 to 28 July 2018. The top two teams of the tournament qualified for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship as the AVC representatives.

The 2018 Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship, referred to as the 2018 SMM Est Cola Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship for sponsorship reasons, was the twelfth edition of the Asian Girls' U17 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) for the girls' under-17 national teams of Asia. The tournament was held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, from 20 to 27 May 2018.

The tournament was held in Tabriz, Iran from 29 June to 6 July 2018. The top four teams of the tournament qualified for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship as the AVC representatives.

The 2018 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 19th edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Myanmar Volleyball Federation (MVF). The tournament was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 30 July to 6 August 2018. The champions qualified for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship instead of the 2017 champions Sarmayeh Bank Tehran, who withdrew from the 2018 Club World Championship.

The 2018 Asian Eastern Zonal Women's Volleyball Championship was the 11th edition of the AVC Eastern Zonal Women's Volleyball Championship, the volleyball championship of East Asia. It was held in Zhangjiagang, China from 10 to 15 July 2016.

The 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship will be the tenth edition of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA). The tournament was held in Tianjin, China, from 27 April to 5 May 2019. The winner of this tournament will be qualified to 2020 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

The 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship will be the 21st edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Japan Volleyball Association (JVA). The tournament will be held in Chiba and Funabashi, Japan from 12 to 19 September 2021. The tournament also serves as part of Asian qualification for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, with the top two teams including winners and runners-up advancing to the qualifying tournaments.

The 2019 Eastern Asian Men's Volleyball Championship was the 10th edition of the AVC Eastern Zonal Men's Volleyball Championship, the volleyball championship of East Asia. It was held in Zhangjiagang, China from 16 to 21 July 2019.
