Eastlea Community School is a co-educational secondary school in the London Borough of Newham in Canning Town, London E16. The school caters for 11- to 16-year-olds.

Eastlea Community School underwent[ when? ] an extensive £13m Building Schools For the Future redevelopment creating a campus-style learning environment.
Eastlea was rated as "Inadequate" following an Ofsted inspection, published 20 November 2019. [4]
Previously a community school administered by Newham London Borough Council, in January 2021 Eastlea Community School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Newham Community Schools Trust. [5]
The London Borough of Newham is a London borough created in 1965 by the London Government Act 1963. It covers an area previously administered by the Essex county boroughs of West Ham and East Ham, authorities that were both abolished by the same act. Newham Sixth Form College (NewVIc) is a sixth form college located in the East London borough of Newham. Situated on a single site in Plaistow, the college was established in 1992 to provide for students in Newham and neighbouring boroughs who opt to stay in education beyond GCSE O-levels. It is designed for students ages 16 to 19 and its curriculum includes A-levels as well as specialist pathway, levels 2 and 3 vocational, foundation level and ESOL programmes. There are currently about 2,500 students at the college.

It was founded on Three Mills Island in its first temporary and current main site, the Clock Mill, by its first principal, David Perks, in 2013. The school originally planned to move to its permanent site two years after its opening, however this has yet to occur. The new building is being built by Berkeley Homes as part of its Twelvetrees Park development project and is expected to be complete sometime in 2022.
Oasis Academy Silvertown is a coeducational secondary free school located in North Woolwich in Newham, in London, England. It is part of the Oasis Community Learning. It opened to pupils in September 2014. It moved to this site in September 2016, and will move to its permanent home, in Silvertown in 2022. It was rated 'Good' in its first Ofsted inspection in 2017.
