Eleanor Mary Anne Glynn (born 28 March 1986) is an English model and beauty pageant titleholder. She won the Miss SIXTV Oxfordshire title in 2003, the Miss Oxfordshire title in 2006, and the Miss England 2006 title on the 14 July 2006, she later went on to represent England in the Miss World 2006 contest in Poland and then Miss Great Britain in the Miss Europe 2006 contest in Ukraine. Biography

Glynn started learning piano in Oxfordshire and attended The Virtuoso songwriting contest held in Reading in 2004. Glynn was part of the Miss World 2006 talent show; performing "Since U Been Gone", hosted in Wrocław. This was followed by a performance at City of Music.

Glynn has taken part in the filming of two music videos, the first was for Chico's "Curvy Cola Bottle Body Baby" (which was filmed at Pinewood); the second was for Zak Knight's "All Over Again" (produced and directed by company Pixelloft).

Glynn recorded a 2007 Rugby World Cup song with a group called 'The Miss England Girls', entitled "Come on England (Time for Glory)"; this was recorded and released with ShaileRyde.

Beauty pageant career

Glynn won Miss SIXTV Oxfordshire in 2003, and participated in Miss England 2004, which was held in London. She also won Miss Oxfordshire in 2005 and participated in Miss England 2006, which was held in Leicester, winning the competition. She then participated in Miss World 2006, which was held in Poland, and represented Great Britain in the Miss Europe 2006 competition in Ukraine.

Modelling

During her year as Miss England, Glynn made local and national headlines having campaigned to ban size zero models from London Fashion Week, and had a spread and photoshoot in HELLO! .

The 12th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Antiguo Taller de Locomotoras of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico on September 2, 2005. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Priscila Perales from Nuevo León, who later competed in Miss Universe 2006 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. Perales was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Laura Elizondo. She was the third Neoleonesa to win this title.

The 14th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio "Profr. Manuel Bonilla Valle" of Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico on October 6, 2007. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Elisa Nájera from Guanajuato, who later competed in Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam where she was the 4th Runner-up. Nájera was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosa María Ojeda. She is the first and only Guanajuatense to win this title.

Miss European is a beauty pageant of between 95 and 100 contestants aged 16 to 30 from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Wales, Ireland, Malta and in 2011 both Scotland and Portugal joined the contest. The pageant was founded by Claude Pasbbecq in France in 1996 as Miss International. It changed its name to Miss Euroregion in 1999 and became Miss European in 2006. In 2013 Georgia joined making it one of the biggest beauty pageants in the world. The contest involves 3 rounds where contestants take part in Clubwear, Swimwear and an Evening Dress round. There is also a Team Dance which must include all team members. This is judged separately. This part of the contest has become increasingly popular.

Miss Europe 2006, was the 58th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the third and final edition under Endemol France. After this years contest, the pageant was planned for 2007, 2008 & 2009 with it being held in places in Moscow and Beirut. The contest, however, was not held after 2006 and Endemol France stopped the pageant after this edition. The Miss Europe pageant went unheld until 2016 when the newly formed Miss Europe Organization started the pageant back up. This years pageant was held in Kyiv, Ukraine on October 27, 2006. Alexandra Rosenfeld of France, was crowned Miss Europe 2006 by outgoing titleholder Shermine Shahrivar of Germany.

The 8th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Aeropuerto Internacional "Lic. Adolfo López Mateos" of Toluca, Estado de México, Mexico on September 28, 2001. Forty-seven contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Ericka Cruz from Yucatán, who later competed in Miss Universe 2002 in Puerto Rico. Cruz was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Jacqueline Bracamontes. She is the first and only Yucateca and the third winner of foreign descent to win this Title.

Sancler Frantz Konzen is a Brazilian model, journalist and beauty queen who won Miss Brazil World 2013 and represented Brazil at Miss World 2013 and placed in the Top 6. In 2023, she was appointed to represent Brazil at Miss Supranational 2023 where she placed as 2nd Runner-Up.

Oksana Kononets is the first quadriplegic Ukrainian model, entrepreneur, and public figure. Kononets is best known for winning the Beauty No Limits contest in 2016, as well as receiving the title of "Miss Elegance". She then won the title of "Miss Individuality" in the first world beauty contest for women in wheelchairs, Miss Wheelchair World 2017. She is also the founder and director of the Charity Foundation 'Neskoreni' in the Ukraine. Following that, she was named one of Ukraine's top 100 woman by the Ukrainian People magazine. Most recently, she has been named as a laureate in the Ukrainian "Women of the Third Millennium" Award.

Han Thi is a Burmese actress, singer, model and beauty pageant title holder. She was crowned the Miss World Myanmar 2018 and represented Myanmar at the Miss World 2018 and previously crowned the Miss Supranational Myanmar 2014 and represented Myanmar at the Miss Supranational 2014.
